Mouthwatering Treats at @IHOP

Most people that know me know just how much I love  LOVE RED VELVET.  I love it as a cake, cupcakes, muffin, milkshake, pancakes...  You name the sweet treat and you best believe that I will try it and hopefully enjoy it.  When I saw that Ihop was bringing limited time "bakery favorites" and that Red Velvet Crepes were on the menu, I knew I wanted to try it out.

I was sent a gift card and we headed to IHOP to try it out.  Mouthwatering options like the red velvet crepes, cinnamon swirl brioche french toast and even frosting laced cupcake pancakes sent me there knowing I was going to have a hard time deciding what to try.  Lucky for me, Marc went and got the French Toast so I could try it as well as my red velvet.   I will say that I was a bit disappointed in the crepes.  They were just basically flat.  I did ask my server if that was normal and she explained they had the more "delicate" crepes like my red velvet that were smaller and then they had heartier ones as well.  Don't get me wrong, it was very good... but it did leave me wanting more.  I will either order it as a treat next time, or just stick to the Red Velvet Pancakes.

My Red Velvet Crepe.

As I mentioned, Marc got the Cinnamon Swirl Brioche French Toast.  Now that was a fill you up menu item!!!!   I thought it was great, but he said he wished it was more crunchy.  I laughed and told him he should have tried the Double Dipped French Toast!!!  I thought these were perfect and I really enjoyed them!  We were not able to try the cupcake pancakes, because I wanted to bring Broxton to try them and with the school year coming to an end, its been chaos!

Sign up for the IHOP Pancake Revolution to stay in the know of what all is going on.  Not only that, but you will also get a free birthday meal!  Remember the bakery favorites are limited time (they are still being advertised on the website, so I am not sure... just know that you can follow IHOP on social media to stay up to date on all the yummy goodness that they offer!)

Do you ever go out for breakfast? If so, what do you normally order?

  1. There is an IHOP near me, I never think of going there, I don't know why, but all these delish pancakes have me wanting to go soon! I'd love to have some waffles, I haven't had them in years!
