Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Last week was a busy week around here for us. One major event that Broxton was able to go to??? Well, just a little thing at Delta Air Lines where they honored SNOOPY and made him an honorary pilot!!!    Broxton was so excited to be there.  Not only did he get to take a tour of the Delta Flight Museum beforehand, he got to meet Snoopy.  Top it all off??  He got to see some of the actors that are the voices and even met Craig Schulz (writer/producer) and Steve Martino (director) for the new Peanuts Movie coming out November 6th.   If you follow me on Instagram , you saw some photos of the event, but here are a few more for you to check out!    What we saw when we arrived...

I love having books around for us to read and flip through.  It is a great thing when you hear your little one say, "Mama, will you read me a book?"  Of course, I say yes... Unless it is the millionth book of the night and he is doing it to try and stay up late, then I can say "not until tomorrow." We were recently sent The 50 States for review.  Now, this book is not one that you are going to snuggle up and read as a bed time story, but it is a great one that you will look at to learn more about different states!   I actually learned quite a few things myself as I flipped the pages!   The 50 States isn't your typical map book. Yes, you have each state on a two page spread, but they don't...

Make it Paper Towns!   (This would be a good one to have your high school daughter and her friends have a fun night in! ) I was recently given the opportunity to make it a girls night in for a night of fun!  I hate to admit that I have all the plans in the world to make a scrapbook for both Broxton and Savannah, but as of this time, I have nothing done.  I always have the best of intentions to do things like that, but then when I get down to it, the photos turn into a trip down memory lane and then before you know it, hours have passed and nothing has been placed in the actual book!  That is all about to change now!  Paper Towns...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Last week, I was invited to go and check out a Cook-off between two firehouses...  They were making dishes using Johnsonville Sausage .  Of course I said yes!  It was a beautiful day and it sounded like fun.  I have heard of Chili Cook-offs before, but this was one where they would be making stew or soup.  I am all about learning a new recipe, so Savannah and I headed that way to see what was going on!     When we arrived, we were greeted with Firehouse 19 having their truck out on display as a backdrop.  Talk about eye catching for people riding or walking by!  The great thing was that this competition resulted in plenty of good food... and it was open for anyone...

One of the best feelings in the world, to me, is being a mom.  I love my "babies" more than anything and I wish them all that life has to offer.  If you have visited my blog before, you more than likely know how much I love books and love adding books to our personal library. We were recently given the opportunity to review a book from I SEE ME BOOKS .  It is called, I Wish You More , and it is such a perfect book!   I love that the book, I wish you more, has all the feelings I have for my children.  I wish you more ups than downs and so much more!    It is a hard back book with great illustrations on each page!   When you set out to order your book, you have the option to up...

“ Cardinal  Health sent me this product to try, and donated to a charity of my choice.” When I had Broxton, I was a bit surprised at what I needed once I came home from the hospital.  I admit that I did not give much thought to what I might need, I was just worried about being a good mom and him being okay.  Lucky for me, my mom came to stay with me and was a big help running to get things I needed that I had no clue about. Fast forward to this time around. I made it a point to have nursing bra's, nursing covers, all the odds and ends for breast feeding.  I made it a point to tell a first time mom friend of mine that she needed to make sure she had plenty of pads for when she came home, that was one thing I totally did not think about first time around.   It doesn't matter if you are having a vaginal birth or a c-section, it is going to hurt down there and you need to make sure you are cared for at home, just as you were at the hospital.  That is w...

FTC Compliant Review Policy: The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. My parents have always had my best interest in mind, from the days as a baby to even now. They care and I am fortunate to have such amazing people to call my mom and dad.  I don't remember the details of it all, but I do remember going to KinderCare as a child.  In my mind it was just a "day care" type place so imagine my surprise when I was invited to come and tour a local KinderCare recently!  Now, we are not looking for childcare at this time, as I am very fortunate to stay home, but I know some of you might be, so I thought it would be nice to share with you what I learned that day. First of all, KinderCare is so much more than just a "daycare!"  Don't get me wrong, they care f...
