We love the Fuzzwippers Books by Marilynn Halas.   We just received the latest book in the series...   Fuzzwippers Make Great Travelers. The Fuzzwippers Make Great Travelers is another awesome book. In this book, Fuzzany and her friend, Alexandra head to Hawaii.   The thing I loved most in this book was that it said "new place with new experiences and sights waiting to be explored."  At this point, we were talking about how you should always try new things (including food!) Fuzzany and Alexandra made new friends in Hawaii and even learned how to surf.  Instead of giving up when the first did not succeed, they tried again... with support from her new friends! This was a cute book ...

We were sent the second book in the Fuzzwippers series and we quickly opened it to see what was in store.  (Broxton seems to still have a problem listening, so I wanted to see if this might help him out.) The book is called Fuzzwippers Find Good Listeners.    The book starts with one of the Fuzzwippers (fuzzoola )and his friend.  They were worried that others would not be able to  understand each other like they did, so fuzzoola helped to write a book helping other kids and fuzzwippers understand each other.  They actually helped one another to explain to others....  Best of all, they teach that you need to listen... as they whispered an important message... Nope, not going to tell you what it is... The latest book I have been flipping through is, Hello, We're the Fuzzwippers by Marilynn Halas. This is a colorful book that tells us about the Fuzzwippers coming from the Land of the Fuzzwippers to meet all the kids...  They come to bring a message...  All of the kids are so excited and sit around listening, waiting to hear what they have to say... They talk about being quiet, so they can go anywhere with you... from bed to school and on all of the adventures in between.   One reason I like this book is because it says they are there to help you feel more comfortable.. and that when you are more secure, everyone feels better! The best part?  They totally bring attention to the fact they have no mouths...  With that, you have to know that the fuzzwippers don't actually "TALK" but rather they quote" Speak right to your imagination!" The end of the book even includes a couple blank pages..  The kids can use it to draw their own fuzzwipp...
