Filling stockings are always a toughie for me... I like fun things in them, but not candy.  At Broxton's school they are each to bring in enough items for the kids in the class and it can be anything from pencils to erasers, candy to trinkets or toys... Whatever they want to bring... That got me to thinking about what would be fun stuff to add to Broxton's stocking at the house...   (I would not mind jewelry in mine, but don't think Santa is buying for me this year! Ha! Ha! Ha!)  I noticed something he has been playing with way more than normal lately and then it hit me... While I can always do pretty good at getting Broxton gifts, Stocking Stuffers are always so hard to figure out... That was why I was happy to have a few ideas in mind thanks to the wonderful gifts we received from Toy State.  Up first was the Gundimals Frog .  It is just the cutest and it is so soft!!!!   Then, we were sent an ADORABLE Curious George !  We love him in this house... Lots of books and he has a large curious George that he has had since he was a baby... Finally, we were sent the 007 The Spy Who Loved Me Car!  It has 3 buttons on top, so you can press the button and have the car light up, play sounds .... and yes, IT PLAYS The BOND MUSIC!!!!! Broxton is going to love this, as it plays the sound.. and then speeds away!!!! In true Bond fashion, the 007 Die Cast comes in a couple different versions. When I was younger, we played pick up sticks..  At least, I think that was the name of them...  I know kids before me played marbles and jacks...  Truth be told, I had a set, I just did not know what to do with them, so I just collected the marbles! Well, kids today have so many different things to choose from, but one that is sort of like the two games I mention, but with its own unique system is GoGo's Crazybones! Have you seen or heard of GoGo's Crazybones? They are the newest craze.... I don't know about your house... But around here, we like to stay busy...creative, artsy, fun, excited... and yes, we love to nap and lounge around too!  But, back to the exciting part of it all!!! Whenever we go anywhere, I try to have something for Broxton to be entertained... If we are going somewhere that we might be a bit, I try to bring a couple books or something...  I have now found a new idea to add to our creativity bag!  The Doodle Roll! Have you heard of it?!   It is such a great idea, I am wondering why it has not been around for ages... You know how some restaurants have kids coloring pages? Well, it is like that... but better! The Doodle Roll is a cute and compact item.  (Meaning, you can throw it in your purse or diaper bag... ) It is a roll of paper (you pick, large or small roll... that means 15 or 30 feet!) Also with the roll, it comes in a simple plastic carry case... WITH the crayons... and the carry case?...

With all the different television shows and movies going on these days, I was actually not surprised when I saw information on "My Zombie Insurance." What exactly is My Zombie Insurance ? Well, it is a great gift idea for the Zombie fan in your life... For less than $10 you can get a great gift... Be an entertaining gift or even a cute stocking stuffer... You get an "insurance card", proof on insurance certificate and even a window decal to warn any possible zombie invaders that they picked the wrong house to mess with! Ha ha ha!!! If you are looking for a great stocking stuffer idea, keep YoYo Lip Gloss in mind! These little tubes are more than just cute! Have you heard of YoYo Lip Gloss? They are tubes of lip gloss that are attached to clips with cords on them. That way, you are never digging looking for your lip gloss! Clip them in your purse! Clip them in your bookbag! No matter where, they will be there! The cord lets you yank it to use it, then it zips back up for the next time you need it!!! We were able to sample their zippered pouch. With the zippered pouch, you get three flavors. My mom was here and I let her try one... She was not really a fan. Well, let me change that... It did not bother her, but it had glitter in it and she was quick to say that she could not see herself wearing it out with glitter! Ha! Broxton and I like it, he likes to come over and pucker up. Most kids love Action Heroes... I grew up with a couple favorites and I know Broxton will pick up a couple along the way... Having older brothers might make that happen sooner rather than later!
