The Doc is in...  You know how the song goes, right?  Well, we love Doc McStuffins here.  I remember when Broxton was in kindergarten and ALL the little girls dressed like Doc for career day! Here we are, years later and Doc is still doing her thing, with a new wave of fans.  I am pretty sure as much as Savannah loves all of her stuffed animals, she will be taking care of them like Doc when she gets a little older! Once Christmas is over, you know kids have "money to burn!"  Why not share with them  a couple books with Disney Junior's latest Princess, Sofia the First?  Helping out at Broxton's elementary school, I have seen my fair share of Sofia fans!  (You should have seen today, it was pajama day and there was a good amount of Sofia PJ's!)  These books are available at the start of the new year, so this would be great to talk to them about saving money!  (Or it could be a great gift idea for you to think instead of candy for Valentines for your little Princess!  ) Sofia the First - A Royal Mouse in the House  Available February 3rd, this will be a big hit!  (You can give them...

Nothing better than Christmas books with your favorite Disney Junior characters, right?   We were sent a great selection of Christmas books to get the holiday mood just right and I must say, they are super cute!    We have Doc McStuffins, it is a cute paperback book that has her leaving her home and heading to the North Pole to help an elf fix a broken present on Christmas Eve!  (She even gets to meet the Big Man himself!)   The other book is a board book featuring Jake and the Neverland Pirates!  This book has Hook up to his old ways of trying to steal what isn't his... But no worries, Jake and his crew won't let Hook ruin their Christmas!     A Very McStuffins Christ...

Every now and then we spot a new show on TV and stop to check it out.  That was what recently happened when we spotted Henry Hugglemonster on Disney Junior.  Broxton and I though it was a cute and entertaining show, with adorable little monsters.  He is a bit too old for this show now, but it was still cute to watch and learn about a new character.  I thought it was great to introduce a cute and friendly monster to get kids to realize that monsters are nothing to be afraid of.  These two cute books both come with stickers, so you know that is an added bonus for any kids!   I would totally get the Welcome to Roarsville first though.  It gives a tour of the town and has several words to help identify the things in the b...

Can you believe December came so fast?  It seems like just the other day we were celebrating Christmas 2013... now a whole year has passed? Say it ain't so!  Are you finished with your Christmas shopping?  Have you even started? I can proudly say I am "almost" done. I don't know if I told you Broxton's latest.. He wants to paint his room. I have no clue how or what or why... but that is the latest... Sadly, I put my foot down on that one. I am not one to hinder his creativity, so I made a deal... He could put posters up, or drawings or whatever he wants.. but no permanent decor. He was so thrilled to have that say so on his room!  So, he has started telling me the things he wants to p...

Remember me telling you about the newest show on Disney Junior?  Doc McStuffins ...  (It starts March 23rd)   Well, we were sent a cute box full of goodies for the promotion of this show and of course, that meant a sneak peek DVD of an episode..    To be honest, Marc and I thought that this was going to be very much geared to little girls.  I know, I guess we jumped the gun, since it was a little girl as a main character.. Well, we were so wrong!  Broxton wasn't feeling well, so we snuggled up on the couch and put the Doc McStuffins DVD on.  It was just adorable.  Basically, the little girl is Doc McStuffins... She can talk to her stuffed animals and they can talk to her as well.  PHOTO CREDIT: ©Disney Junior    The episode we watched was called Knight Time (I think) in it, we met a few of Doc's toys/patients... They were playing pretend and needed a Knight, so she went and borrowed one, but he was all off kilte...
