When you have children, you get to experience things all over again as far as the joy and amazement of everyday things.  Having Broxton (age 7) and now Savannah (age 8 months) I get to see so much wonder in their eyes and it is amazing watching both of them with all that life brings us.  It is especially wonderful to watch the big brother share his excitement with his little sister, I really lucked out with how great he is with her!!!   Another adventure in the land of parenthood?  (I know many parents can relate to this one!) SIPPY CUPS. You have to find the perfect one.  The child has to like it and it has to serve many functions...  top two? One, it has to work for YOUR child to use... and two, it CAN NOT LEAK!!!!   We were thankful to have been given an opportunity from Evenflo to take their new sip n seek cup on an adventure and we took them up on the challenge!    FTC Compliant Review Policy: The product(s) featured in this review...

Having a baby girl on the way means that we will be stocking up on all sorts of things that we need to make life perfect for all of us. I will be the first to admit that with Broxton, I had to sort of learn as I went when it came to certain things...   This time around I do hope to be a bit more prepared.  One thing I did learn was that just because I thought I knew what I wanted to do, it might not work out that way for us when it actually came down to it.  (Example, Marc knew the diapers he wanted to use, but once I tried them, I was not a fan, so we tried again until we found the ones that worked great for us!)  This time around, I am prepared to explore and learn and grow wit...

Did You Pump?

*  This is not a sponsored post.  I just know that as a mom (that tried to breastfeed and pump)  I would have loved to have had more information out there for me.... So, without further ado... Let me tell you about the Evenflo Breast Pump:  This liquid gold (Breast Milk)  is one of nature’s purest forms of nourishment; however, the way a mom expresses her milk during pumping could affect its purity. To prevent contamination, moms are advised not to share or buy used pumps, and to avoid ‘open system’ pump where there is no barrier between the milk collection bottle and the pumping mechanism. In these open systems, breast milk can be exposed to the air and bacteria, and can actually backup into the tubing and pump – areas that are difficult to clean and can become a breeding ground for bacteria, mold and viruses. Instead, moms looking to buy a breast pump should invest in a closed-system like the high-quality, yet affordable, Advanced Double Electric B...
