@StrykeClub helps out the boy and the mama! #Review

UPDATE:  This seems to be doing a great job, and wanted to reshare with you all with the holidays getting closer!!!! Calling all moms of boys....  HELLO?!  I know I can't have the only stinky boy around... Right??  When Marc and I were married, I quickly learned how stinky teenage boys could be... and I was surprised... so when Broxton started to smell a bit, I was prepared for it... but not really.  Why?  Because it is easy to get things for girls... but harder to find geared towards boys.  I mean, I could go grab a mans deodorant, but I wanted something to be more "for him" at his age... Know what I mean? So, when I heard about STRYKE - I wanted to check it out for him!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. We have not watched many (if any) shows on the Cartoon Network and I really don't know why. So, when we opened up the mail and were greeted with Regular Show: Mordecai and Margaret Pack on DVD, I was not really sure what to think.   Of course, I looked to see what I could find out about the show and learned that "Regular Show is the breakout comedy series that features Mordecai and Rigsby, two groundskeepers at a park whose attempts to escape their everyday boredom take them to fantastical extremes.  Their job is so deadly dull that the two friends will do anything they can to avoid it. This doesn't go over well with their boss Benson (an anthropomorphic gumball machine)  - but their efforts often res...

Image - Amazon Having all boys around here, you would think that I would go crazy...  I won't lie, it does get nuts around here when they visit... but, there mom does a great job of raising them, so they are good kids!!!! I was sent a book, Raising Boys By Design for me to check out...  I honestly have not had time to do much lately, so I have yet to read it ... ( I will be reading it in the new year... I know Broxton is a good boy, but who says you can't use a little help?!) This was the email I received introducing me to the book.... For every girl in a correctional facility, more than eight  boys  are incarcerated.  Boys  are expelled from public school at almost thre...

NFL Football Camp Near Atlanta

Image
I am so excited to tell you what is going on here... We have the boys up visiting for Summer Break and of course, with a house of boys... It is always GO GO GO ...    The youngest of them is 12 and he is really into football.  As in he has played for different football teams since he was in second grade. He loves it and not only shows a passion for it, but he is really good at it. He actually had a coach that used to play in the NFL and he even had to talk about how he was such a good player! That being said...   I love opening up emails and finding surprises. I opened an email and saw that there was a football camp being held by a couple NFL players... I KNEW that I would want to take the boys to it.  If only one was able, I knew I wanted it to be the youngest, Marc!!!  Nothing against Caleb, but he is more into basketball.  Luckily, they are both able to go!!!! Here are the details: NFL Summer Football Camp for Andre Fluellen (Chicago Bears...

Pert Plus for Time Management - Review

Image
With a house full of boys, you can imagine the phrase "LESS IS BEST" works here...  I always make sure they have the basics in their bathroom, but I hate to say it... It is normally whatever I have... I never thought much about Pert Plus .  But now, I will! Hello! Talk about a time saver!  I used to use it when I was younger...  This would be great for the boys!!! Shampoo PLUS conditioner..  IN ONE BOTTLE!!!  For less than $6 you can have them using both shampoo and conditioner... One step... Equals... Less time... Equals Happy Boys!!!! (Happy boys also lead to happy daddy... and of course all that happiness heads my way too!) I will tell you this, when we received the Pert Plus, I was taken back by the new design of their bottle!(Not sure how long they have had this shape, but it was new to me!)  They still use the green bottle, I do believe that has always been their color...We were sent the Pert Plus Classic Clean . Of cours...

Wrestlemania - Pictures Finally

Image
Okay, a couple weeks ago, I posted the sneak peak of our trip to Wrestlemania ... I said that the next W/W I would post the rest, but then I got to the picture of Broxton showing how bad he needed a haircut and I totally forgot about Wrestlemania ... Well, I wanted to post a few pictures, if anything but for those one or two people that might love it! (Thanks for the reminder, Clueless Mama !) We took the boys, they LOVED it. We were totally in the nosebleed section. I mean, totally.in.the.nose.bleed!!!! I could have hung from the rafters if I stretched my arms up. I was praying that I would not have to go to the bathroom, because that meant having to walk all the way down those 27 million stairs... and then back up them. Luckily for me, I held it in! The reason for telling you in advance of the nose bleed section? Because in ALL of my pictures, I made it a point to have the big screen in it as well. I knew there was no way in the world I could tell who was in them otherwise! The boy...

Monkey Brains Hair Collection - Review

Image
If you have a house with Teens/ Tweens in it, chances are... They are all about style these days! We had the boys up here for spring break, so I was happy that we also had the chance to review the Monkey Brains Hair Collection during that time! Granted, it is MALE central here... But, they do like the spiky hair style from time to time! Well, the oldest and youngest do... The middle, not so much, he just likes to go... We were able to review the Crazy Sticky Hair Gel . ( MSRP of $3.99) Now, they are not joking with this one! It is crazy and it sure as anything is sticky. They also should have added something about it smelling wonderful in the name... I think that was what I liked the best! I know if I needed hair gel for anything, the smell of this would draw me to it! The other that we were able to review was the Grease Monkey Hair Pomade . ( MSRP of $3.99) It is definitely geared to the Teen/Tween since it is a bright purple! (As well as the packaging over all for all of the pro...
