Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . There are some classics that just never get old. For our house, Tom and Jerry is one of them.  I grew up watching Tom and Jerry, I can remember watching it at Day Care while we all waited for our parents to pick us up. Through the years of watching, I never realized that Tom actually spoke in an episode.  I learned that this week, if you want to know how long that took me to figure out!  Wow.  Talk about being surprised!  (We were watching a marathon on TV and in one episode, he was singing and talking, Broxton and I were both totally shocked!)  Well, now we have a new DVD to add to our collection and I am so excited!  This could also make for a great Fathers Day gift for a little nostal...

While Broxton and Marc are fans of Tom (Marc thinks they don't show Spike enough, as that is really his favorite) I personally love Jerry. Maybe it is just because he is so little and cute, but he is adorable to me.  No, I don't want him moving in or anything, but he is cute to watch on TV! Broxton really enjoys watching this show, especially with his daddy, but let me tell you what we learned in Kindergarten this year... You aren't allowed to wear cartoon shirts if you want to fit in with some of the cool kids...  His was a vintage one, but we had a big discussion about wearing what you want and liking what you want.  Either way, that is here nor there, I just wanted to tell you that The Tom and Jerry ...

I remember watching Tom and Jerry as a kid...  Loved the show... but Broxton and Marc really love it now!!!!  With that, it is nice to know that the cartoons that I grew up on are available on DVD!   BURBANK, CA  (March 27, 2013) – Tom and Jerry’s rivalry goes way back to the time Tom was just a small kitten and Jerry a baby mouse. Their rollicking adventures as tiny tots are captured on Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s DVD release of  Tom and Jerry Kids Show The Complete Season 1 , available April 30, 2013. This entertaining release will be comprised of 13 episodes on a two-disc set, for over four hours of exciting,  Tom and Jerry  hi-jinks.  Tom and Jerry Kids Sh...

(Don't get me wrong, there are times where the episode is so much better...  It just depends on the mood, the situation and the subject.)  With that... Broxton and Marc could sit down and watch Tom and Jerry all day long...      That was what made receiving Tom and Jerry's Giant Adventure such a great thing..  It was a movie for the two of them to snuggle and watch!!!!   WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT RELEASES AN ALL-NEW ORIGINAL ANIMATED FILM TOM   AND  JERRY’S  GIANT   ADVENTURE ON BLU-RAY™ WITH ULTRAVIOLET™  AND  DVD AUGUST 6, 2013 Release Features ...

Broxton is always hit or miss when it comes to Tom and Jerry.  Depending upon the day and time, he might be a fan, but at other times, he could care less.  That was the case with the latest DVD that we received.  I thought Broxton would be pretty excited since he does like Tom and Jerry... This was a special DVD as it shows more of the other characters than some of the other DVD's.  Broxton seemed to be upset with the shows (especially Spike and Tyke ones...) That was odd to me, as Spike and Tyke were the two characters I remembered and loved the most... It is funny to me, just hearing the theme music transported me back to my youth...  It was like I was a kid again!!!! Anyways, instead of a trip down memory lane, let me get back to the DVD... Broxton seemed to think it was too much and wasn't a fan... and then I have read on another site that maybe it isn't for younger kids... I don't know.  Broxton isn't normally like that, so I am not sure if it is ...

I love Tom and Jerry... Don't get me wrong, I don't sit around and hope for it to come on, but when it does... We will watch from time to time.  Honestly, I remember it from childhood and never watched with Broxton.  Then, one day, I walked in to see Marc all snuggled on the couch watching them with Broxton.  I just laughed and sat down to join in the trip down memory lane...  On October 2nd, Tom and Jerry set out on a new adventure... Robin Hood and the Merry Mouse!!!!  SYNOPSIS: A fresh take on the classic story,   Tom  &  Jerry :  Robin   Hood  and his  Merry   Mouse   is an action-packed family film filled with laugh-out-loud moments and fur-flying exploits that only our favorite cat and   mouse   duo can deliver! The tussling twosome are at it again, when   Jerry , as the smallest member of   Robin   Hood ’s gang encounters   Tom , a feline squire to Maid Marian. No...

If you are a fan of Tom and Jerry, then their latest movie is one you really want to see! Marc and Broxton enjoy Tom and Jerry and WE ALL love The Wizard of Oz, so I was excited to see how this would work. Were Tom and Jerry going to be the characters Dorothy meets in Oz? I could just see Tom as the Cowardly Lion... Maybe Jerry as the Scarecrow! Ha! How funny! We were in for a treat! As soon as Broxton saw the case, he immediately started in... I want to watch Tom and Jerry! So, we planned for family movie night and we all settled in to watch it! It was cute! Totally not what I expected. Tom and Jerry do not play roles, they are just... Tom and Jerry. Auntie Em asks them to stop their fighting and promise to watch after Dorothy! Wow, I never thought that day would come!!! They then condense the movie of the Wizard of Oz to keep young one's attention. We still meet all the characters that we love, but it isn't as long as the original movie. Tom and Jerry have ...

Who doesn't just LOVE Tom and Jerry? I know we do! I remember watching this when I was younger... I always wondered, why didn't Tom ever catch Jerry? Also, unlike most cartoons, they never spoke! What was up with that? Either way, I love that Tom and Jerry is a timeless classic in my opinion! No matter the age, everyone can laugh at how silly they are!!! We were able to review Tom and Jerry: Fur Flying Adventures Volume 2 and it was just as great as I remembered! How funny is this, right before we received the DVD, I walked in to see Broxton and Marc watching them on TV like the week before! Cute!!! We really enjoyed watching this DVD. I love seeing these and of course all the additional characters... (I heart Spike the dog!) Synopsis: One flustered feline + one resourceful rodent = 14 wild and wacky cartoons! Tom – the eternally crabby cat – and Jerry – the hopelessly adorable mouse – find themselves in a fracas once, twice and many times again in this latest bunch of 14 f...
