Jumpin-Beans

One thing is for certain... I love my kids and I am always so proud of them.  One thing that I absolutely LOVE about Savannah is that she picked up my love for reading.  She can pretty much always be caught with at least 2 reading books in her bookbag at all times. I don't really remember when, but she jumped into reading DOG MAN books and I have seen several of them over time.  Not sure how many there are, but she has probably read them!!!   Imagine my surprise when I saw the advertisement for DOG MAN the movie... Years ago, I told you how I went to visit JULIET, GEORGIA where they filmed Fried Green Tomatoes.  Well, the time we went to visit, the cafe was closed, but this time - IT WAS OPEN!!!!  Matt and I went and we were able to try a bit of goodness that I can say truly was delicious!   There was a bit of a wait, but we were able to walk around and see the town while we waited for a table to be ready for us.   The OPRY HOUSE from the movie.  Inside the Whistle Stop Cafe. Of course I had to get the BBQ - I mean, "the secret's in the sauce" right?? They took our picture and right by Matt is the window from the movie with the bullet hole in it!  Over my shoulder is a movie poster signed by the cast.   More scenes from the movie- Do you recognize any of them? We had to go by the church to see if there was any honey placed out there..  (There was) and then Matt went to buy me my own honey to have!   Day trips are always so much ...
