People have asked before, but why are there only 8 hot dog buns to a pack but there are 10 hot dogs in a pack? Why can't all gas tanks be on the same side? I hate trying to remember what side for the car I am in... Why do most apartments have their eating area's carpeted? It would be much easier if it wasn't carpet, then I wouldn't have to worry about stains as much. Why do most apartment have peepholes on the doors, but you hardly see one on a door to a house? Why does it seem like I can never find my sunglasses? I have two pair that have been missing for a bit & one that just recently became missing. ** Update on this... It is Tuesday, right? I have a few random thoughts going through my head, so I figured, why not do a RTT post? Been awhile, I know! 1. My birthday is not to far... Yep! I am like a kid, getting excited! Not really sure why, I guess because Marc will be here this year! Kinda sucked turning the BIG 30 and the hubby being in the middle of a war... 2. So, McDonalds really made me mad! I know, that is what we get for going... Anyways, went to pick up food... left without checking (I know, do not get me started!) and at the red-light (that was not working by the way, once all the cars figured it out, we started having to maneuver around to get outta there!) I check the bag... Missing food, and what are these apple pies? Ugh!!!!!!!!!!! I called back, after being on hold the whole time at the red-light, I finally got a manager... Long story short, she told me to come through the drive thru and she would complete my order, no, she did not mention the pies.... I go back, the drive th...

Well, today is Tuesday... and I felt a bit random! With that in mind... Lowe's : I want to know why it is such a big secret that Lowe's offers military discount... oops, I guess it isn't such a big secret now... I mean, really... It is like a whispering ordeal for the "military discount." A friend said she went and the cashier saw her ID... He whispered and asked if she was military... She said yes and then he quietly told her that they offered a discount, but that it was not an advertised thing... Hmm ... Guess that is why I ALWAYS ask, everywhere... I think it is super cool and I love that! Shhhhhhh ... do not go telling everyone! Wal -Mart : I think it is awesome that they have such LONGGGGGGGGGG parking lots... Want to know why? From what I have ALWAYS heard, Sam Walton has them that way, and the lights are ALWAYS on... Just so that the truckers will have a place to pull over and rest if they are tired... How cool is that?! Target : I went in a few weeks ago ...

It is Tuesday... So, randomness it is! Check out the Un Mom for more! First things first... With Marc being deployed, I really, really HATE the fact that postage keeps going up! Luckily, " Price of First-Class Postage Will Not Change", but the price in shipping will! I spend, on average, $12 a week on mailing him stuff. Not that I am complaining, I just wish that they could give a military discount. I do LOVE the fact that he can mail a letter home for free, mailing a box will still cost.. But, at least a letter is free... I think I forgot to tell you, I took Broxton to Sams to get his "official Santa" picture... I know, we have a snapshot with him, but with this being his FIRST CHRISTMAS, I wanted the whole, Picture Package deal... Yep, I was "that mom!" First of all, Broxton wanted to check out the tree, play in Santa's beard... Anything and everything, besides look at the camera! So, I turned into "that mom"...

So, as I said earlier... I am going to try to post more often... And with that, here is my contribution to Random Tuesday Thoughts. Check out more at the un mom. To start with.. We went and had a great Thanksgiving with my moms side of the family. It was nice, good food... BUT, once we got home... My brother and I realized that there was NO TURKEY there! How crazy is that? None.. There was ham, but no Turkey on Thanksgiving?! That is like kool -aid with no sugar... Or a cheeseburger with no cheese... Or onion rings with no onions... It JUST AIN'T RIGHT! Speaking of Onion rings with no onions.. No joke, my dads friends kid (this was A LONG time ago... ) We all went out to eat and he seriously ordered onion rings with no onion. He was young, it was cute! On to Tiger Woods... I am glad he is okay. At first I was wondering what happened.. Then, it was not a big deal. But, now... With all the secrecy, I am just a bit NOSY! I wonder if we will really ever know what that is about. Oh ...

Okay, so I am riding along... I think I am behind the slowest car, EVER... I get over to try and get on up ahead.. I am riding along and then the car like 3 cars up ( must have seen me coming because right then) decides that they no longer like that lane, they want to get over and SLOW me DOWN... That annoys me! But what is worse? That, or the car that is driving SO SLOW on a 2 lane road... You FINALLY get the all clear to pass them and then what do they do? SPEED UP! Yeah, okay... why weren't you driving like that the whole time? You wait and go for the actual speed limit when I want to pass? I was tired of going 30 in a 55, so then you decide you are ready to go 60? UGHHHHHHHHHH Anyways, as you can see... I do not like being behind slow drivers! Well, slow drivers and then those people that go SO slow whenever they see a cop. I was talking to my dad about that, I think when cops come up to a group of cars, they intentionally slow down to see just HOW SLOW the lead car will go....
