With Broxton being in Kindergarten now, we are reading every single night and having to log it into our reading journal.  We work on site words and I am SO EXCITED for the time when he can sit and read a book to me... It will be coming soon, I just know it!   We were sent the World of Reading Level Pre-1 for review and it was a new to me format.  In this set of books, we get 6 books :  Jake Hatches a Plan, X Marks the Croc!, The Case of the Missing Sparkleizer, Caught Blue Handed, Loud Louie and finally, Sophia Makes a Friend. Even though I have a little boy, we are familiar with this character... I personally love the story lines to the books (and shows) and I can always get Broxton to sit down and read a Sophia book with me. Nevermind it is a "princess story" the lessons learned are such a great story point, the rest doesn't matter!! We were recently sent a few more of the Disney Books and I will tell you, after we read them, Broxton immediately grabbed the "Blue-Ribbon Bunny" book and asked me to read it again, with him trying to help me out.  I loved that and was eager to do so!  (The lesson in that book...

We try and wear green, but that is about it...  Last year, a silly little leprechaun caused chaos in the classroom... but nothing at home...  I am thinking that this year the leprechaun might pay him a visit, would you like to know why???
