Let's Eat!!!! Mossy Bayou Foods - Review and Giveaway
I have mentioned before how Marc is from Louisiana and loves him some red beans and rice... Well, we can not just scoot on over to Louisiana for dinner, so we try and make the best out of it. Can you even begin to imagine my delight when I found out about Mossy Bayou Foods ? Not only does it claim to be "a Louisiana specialty food company." They are actually based in Louisiana! We were sent a box fully of goodies and of course, we could not wait to check it all out! First up, the Bayou Blend Seasoning . We used this to put in our red beans and rice. Normally we add all sorts of salt and seasoning, this time... Just the Bayou Blend. Talk about a great flavor. It had a little kick, but not enough to make it where I would not enjoy it. The next item we tried was their Popcorn Rice . Now, I was a bit unsure of this, as I have never heard of it... A gourmet rice with a flavor and aroma of popcorn. What? Well, of course that was the rice we used for our meal. It was WONDERFUL! Yes...
