I shared a few monster books with you the other day and today I have two additional ones to share!  As I mentioned, Monsters aren't just for Halloween, they can also be friendly creatures and are also great to help in teaching things.  While Broxton knows his numbers, letters and colors, everyone struggles with feelings from time to time.  (Not to mention the manner thief comes and goes, as it seems he steals Broxton's manners from time to time!) Savannah will be learning all of this soon, so these are great to have to add to our growing children's library for her (and Broxton) to enjoy!  These are both great books and I am sure your little monsters will love them too!  Image Credit - Barn...

Okay, so I used to do "Aloha Friday" but it seems that it has died down... I have random questions of things that run through my head and I am going to start asking a question each week...  Would love to hear your answers!!!!!   I would also love for you to join in with me... Ask a Question of your own - either here in the comments or on your blog (leave me a link so I can visit and answer)  If it seems that a couple of you start doing this with me, I will totally put up a linky, but for now, I just want to know your thoughts... Today's Question -  Do you send Thank You notes? My answer - I try my best to always send them.  Meaning, we always write them. I actually just found one in my purse I meant to hand deliver... but it was never done... I will give it to them the next time I see them.  We especially make it a point to send Thank you notes when Broxton gets a birthday gift or something like that... It is always hand written and sent. ...

Today's Question- Do you acknowledge the RSVP on invitations? My answer- I ALWAYS acknowledge them... From weddings to birthdays and anything else... I find it rude not to do so.  Especially when they made the point to include it.  Some say" regrets only" but if they are asking for an RSVP, why not take the time to say yes or no...   I know that I put it on Broxton's invitations... since I needed to know how many kids to...

Since it is FOOTBALL SATURDAY, I want to share with you an AMAZING find...  I had originally planned to share with you this for Christmas, but I just can not hold out any longer...  Game Day Rules is a set of books from Sherri Graves Smith. I thought it was so cute to see these books....and you know that we are a house divided...  My love of my bulldogs and Marc's love of his tigers...  Working in a restaurant for as long as I did, I was able to witness all sorts of kids... I would try to speak with a parent if their kid was extra polite, as I wanted them to know it was noticed. With the other kids, I would pray that whenever I had a child, it would NOT end up like that.   For the most part, I do believe Broxton is a well mannered child.  Please do not get me wrong, he is a typical 3 year old,  but we are working on manners all the time.  One thing for me growing up in South Georgia is "mam and sir"  it bothers me when he does not say it and we automatically correct him.  I know that is not a thing in other areas,  but in South Georgia, it is RUDE not to say it... That was one of the first things I noticed when moving to Atlanta...
