Cute Books to Show Just How Much we LOVE!!!

Image
If you know us, you know we love books around here!  When my nephew was born, I knew that we would be passing along books to him to hopefully love and enjoy like us.  We have given him several books and Savannah will try and read to him if he sits long enough...  I was given a chance to review a new collection of books to add to their ever growing library...  Talk about memories!!!  When both of my kiddos were little, we loved Elmo, so it was exciting to see an Elmo book!  Another one was from the "How to Catch" series... ( Savannah loved Unicorns and Mermaids, so yep - we had those!!!)   Check out these books showing just how much we love our littles!!!! Sesame Street Live - Worth it all! #SesameStreetLive #MakingMemories

Image
I am telling you, we have had so much negative in our lives lately, it is nice to be able to have a little positive to enjoy!!!  We were recently invited to go and check out Sesame Street Live! Let's Party!  in Duluth, Georgia.  Savannah is in LOVE with Elmo, so I was thrilled that we would be able to attend. It was great, she was dancing and singing and j...

Had a blast at @SesameStLive # SesameStreetLive

Image
This past weekend was a great one, being that I was able to take the kids to see Sesame Street Live!  Let's Party!  As I have mentioned before, Savannah LOVES Elmo, so I was thrilled when I got the invitation to go check out their live show.  I was worried for a bit, since Savannah wasn't feeling well... but the crew on Sesame Street must have made her feel better!      FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or reprenting PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  Opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by monetary compensation.  Once the show started, her eyes were glued to the stage. She was laughing and giggling and dancing in her seat the whole time. I will be honest, I didn't even read the information about the show, I just knew that I wanted to take her to see it.  Now that I have been, I am telling you... If you an...

Sesame Street Live - Headed to Duluth, Ga!

Image
When Broxton was younger, he loved Elmo and the rest on Sesame Street.  I was excited when Savannah followed in her brothers footsteps and fell in love with the furry little red guy as well!  You can not even begin to imagine my excitement when I found out that Sesame Street Live!  Let's Party! was headed to Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth!  That meant I could plan a great night with the kiddos and work on my whole "making memories" plan for our life!  FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  Opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by monetary compensation.  Savannah has always been a bit on the shy side, so last year when she ran up and hugged Elmo, I knew she had a friend in him!  I can't wait to see her face when she sees him up on the stage!  I just wanted to sh...

Kinsa Thermometers make caring for a sick one a little easier.

Image
A few weeks ago, we had a rough time with Broxton. He kept complaining about a sore throat and a headache. I grabbed the thermometer, but no fever.  I thought he was just trying to get out of school, but he would be burning up, I think the thermometer was broken! I took him to see the doctor and she said his throat was really red, but that was about it.  He missed 2 days of school. The next week, same thing.  He even had a fever to go with it that time and it kept creeping up higher and higher.  I was so thankful when we were sent a Kinsa thermometer for review, as it was actually keeping the correct temperature!   Savannah was so happy with the ELMO KINSA Thermometer!  FTC Compliant Review Policy:   The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Savannah is a HUGE fan of Sesame Street, especially that cute red monster, Elmo!  If you follow me on Instagram , you know we had a blast when the Sesame Street POP UP TOUR: K is for Kindness came our way.  I was SO EXCITED to get to take Savannah and to see her little face light up seeing her friend made my day! This was the set for the event. Elmo and Abby came out and put on a show.  We weren't able to stay for the event, since Big Brother had a basketball game, but we were invited to a media pre-show to get to meet them beforehand.  FTC Compliant Review Policy:   The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Sesame Street K is for Kindness Tour

Image
We are totally in love with Elmo around here.  Savannah seems to call Elmo "lalalala" for the most days, I guess because of the song for Elmo's World.  We always call Elmo by his name, but she still has her own name for him.  Well, I about FLIPPED when I received an email to let me know that the Sesame Street K is for Kindness Pop Up Tour was headed our way!   I know Savannah is going to be so excited to see Elmo and that happiness for her makes my heart smile so big!!! Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation . I may not remember much, but I do remember that Broxton loved Elmo when he was younger.  He loved him so much that his first birthday was "Elmo."  We would watch the show, sing the song...  you name it.  He loved Elmo so much that we would detour to the toy aisle to look at the Elmo dolls each trip to the store.  Yes, Maw-Maw and Papa bought him one so that we could bring the love home.  Being the big ALMOST 7 year old, we have outgrown Elmo days, but with a little sister around, Broxton keeps telling her about his favorites from when he was younger.   We were recently sent Elmo's World - Elmo Wonders on DVD and I have it put up for him to give his little sister for Valentines. ...

Elmo helps us learn to count!

Image
I am not sure the "appropriate age" for little ones to start learning their alphabet and numbers... But we always count and talk about colors on a daily basis. I am glad that we received the Preschool is Cool! Counting with Elmo DVD. Broxton already loves Elmo, so this just adds to it! He gets to see Elmo and we are learning our numbers!!! The cute thing about this is that Professor Grover is the Teacher! So, he tends to forget his numbers... We know how Grover can be! :) Elmo is there to help him! They learn their numbers and Elmo even tries to help Grover by telling him that they should count the crayons!!! What a smart guy our Elmo is!!! They even have children on there helping them count!!! The cutest for me was when Abby lost her freckles and there was a song about it... Helping them count!!!!! And of course, how can you count... without the COUNTING BOOTH?! Once again... Great job! Well done!!! Now, I just need to get the First DVD in the series! This is one that is...
