It seems like its even busier when you have children, well at least that is how I feel these days.  Add a second one to the mix and oh my goodness, we feel busy even when I know good and well that we aren't! Busy days are always going to be a part of life, but it is nice to know that companies like the Ovations Brand of restaurants ( Old Country Buffet, Ryans, Hometown Buffet and Country Buffet) have family nights planned.  Know what that means?  Dinner and fun (shhhh and education too!) while enjoying time as a family! As you are out working on your Christmas list, I wanted to share a new to us restaurant we just visited.  We were given the chance to go and check out Tropical Smoothie and we made a day of it.  Tropical Smoothie is located right near a movie theater, so we went for dinner (and smoothies) and then headed over to enjoy a movie night...  But more about the dinner! Just a few reasons as to why I just "had" to say yes :) One reason - it was in my old stomping grounds and (hate to admit it) the last time I had actually visited that location, I was pregnant with Broxton and a dear friend and I went there for lunch one day! Second reason- I love Olive Garden. Third reason- We recently (within the last year or so) had the first Olive Garden location open up in my hometown... So, I thought it would be great to try out their dishes that I might not otherwis...

It was called Grub Burger and it was packed every time they tried, so we were going to give it a try that day... Of course, we walked in to a busy atmosphere, but it was fine and actually the hustle and bustle of it all made the place that much more appealing to us... Going in with 3 kids to a place that was already loud and busy made me feel that it would not be a place to constantly worry about making sure it was quiet while we ate and caught up on life.
