I love the holidays.  It seems a bit forced for some... and rushed for most... but I love that families TRY to come together.  I mean, it is sad that sometimes the only time you see them is at the holidays, but it really is better than nothing, right?  For me, I love the family time..  I don't know about your house, but around here... we can not have enough water bottles!  Unfortunately for the kids, theirs has to be clear, so not much fun there... but I take a drink to work each day (and we have them around the house) so like I said... never enough! It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!! We love Christmas because it gives us time together... and more time to slow down and enjoy what is important.  One thing we like to do is watch movies... and at Christmas it is fun to watch Christmas movies!!!!  We normally see what is on TV, but we got rid of our cable, so now we watch the DVD's we own.  So exciting that we finally added some classics to our collection!!!!  If you ask Savannah for her favorite color, she will quickly tell you it is "RAINBOW" It has been for years, but the older she gets, the more she likes to pick a more specific color than just blue or green...  Ok, so something is in the water here... When Savannah was born, we quickly learned that she has SEVERAL allergies.  She is allergic to dirt, grass, shrimp... the list goes on and on... Most of her "allergies" just cause her eczema to flare up... and I am not going to have her live in a bubble, so we just deal with it.  Lately, she has been getting colds and what not... We went to get her tested to make sure it was nothing more and we were informed that she is actually having these symptoms due to the allergies. You know how you have those people in your life that are just so hard to buy for?  Like, there is NOTHING that they "NEED" because as soon as they need or want something, they go ahead and buy it.  Yeah... those people...  My mom and dad are two of them, that is 100 % for sure... another is my friend Scott.  You see, he is very laid back and never really wants or needs anything.. the times when he might "like" something, my friend Shanda (his wife) gets it for him, or he gets it himself.  He had a birthday recently and no one knew what to get him...
