With the new year, we get new books to share with you!   Between Broxton having to read for school, us wanting him to read in general, a couple reading challenges here and there, I am determined to make this happen!    He loves when I read to him and will sit and listen to several books.  I try and take advantage of this, as soon enough, he will be too grown to enjoy this time together!   As a Parragon Book Buddy, I was sent two new books for January and I wanted to let you know about them.   Image Credit - Amazon Muddypaws' Day at the Farm:  Broxton wants a dog so bad he can't stand it, but we have told him until he can keep the toys (mostly Lego, lego and more lego...

Talk about learning something new every day....  I have always known that Margaret Wise Brown was the author of Goodnight Moon, but I was not familiar with her other books... until now.  I had no idea she had so many!  Last month I was able to share with you Jingle Paws... Well, this month get ready for 2 additional Margaret Wise Brown books!    The Noon Balloon is a very colorfully illustrated book that has a couple kids set off for an adventure in a hot air balloon.  (If you know me, you know I absolutely LOVE hot air balloons, so I was excited to check this one out!)  As we turn the pages, we see the hot air balloon travel all over, from the city to the country, past a circus and ...

Give more than a book. Give a Love of Reading!

With Christmas coming faster than I can think, I am really crunching down on what all gifts I need to still get.  As I have mentioned before, I love giving books and I think they are gifts that really keep on giving.  You give a book, but they get so much... They get to travel into the book and escape to the land between the pages. They (hopefully) get a love of reading.  They get books to learn and explore and loved ones also get precious snuggle time!    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. We were sent two new books to add to our library and one will be wrapped and added to our Christmas Countdown.   Jingle Paws by Margaret Wise Brown (you know, Goodnight Moon)  is the book I am talking about!  Just as our kids get excited for Santa to...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Classic books always make the best gifts ...  Especially when it comes to kids books!  I am not sure if I ever mentioned it or not, but when my best friend threw a baby shower for me, she requested that everyone bring a childrens book instead of a card, that way we could start stocking up a library for Broxton!  I think that is the neatest thing!  You know, so many cards are around $5, so to spend the same amount and just write a note in the book or on the back of the book was awesome! We were recently sent a classic from childhood that I think everyone knows!   The Three Little Pigs , but this has a twist to it... it is a hard cover (padded) book for little hands to hold, but it has slide...
