Why do we do the things we do?  There is always a reason to celebrate - and with a new collection of children's books, some of the holidays are answered!  We were sent a couple books for review (one explaining Valentines and the other explaining St Patrick's Day) add to it, we had a few extra St Patrick's books thrown in!  Of course, we sent some along to my nephews in Atlanta - but I will also be donating some to the daycare that Broxton and Savannah both went to.  I love books and we all know that childcare centers could always use extra books to let kids love to learn to read! Like adults need an excuse?  Hey, it is Monday guys, we made it through the start of a work week!   Seriously though...  If you want to have the festivities - or if you are busy scrambling to get kids fed, homework done, baths had and ready for bed... but you still want to have a great celebration... Think about stopping by the store and making it a fun night in!!! I am adding a dip recipe (who doesn't love a great dip?) and I am also throwing in a cajun wing recipe - had to do that ...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. *** This has been updated, as I forgot to mention one totally awesome part.  Read the bottom!  *** I will admit, we have never really done anything for St. Patricks Day.  (I mentioned this before, but I want to make sure everyone knows this.)  Last year, Broxton went to school on St. Patricks Day and came home totally stoked talking about all of this stuff that the leprechaun did to his class.  This crazy little leprechaun made a mess, turned things crazy and did all sorts of stuff... but at the end, that leprechaun left each of his classmates a treat... He was SO EXCITED about it and still talks about it today. Well, luckily for us... we have a new tradition that we will be starting this yea...
