Summer is almost over.  Seems like school just got out for the summer and now here we are starting back.  I remember when I was in school we got 3 months off for summer... now seems like they are getting shorter and shorter.  Honestly, I would not mind year round school, if they incorporated nice long breaks in between, but I think I am in the minority on this one.  Seeing as though I am a working mom now, we really did not get much time to go and do like we have in the past, but I tried to make it as fun as I could.  We planned a trip to the beach for several days and let me tell you... WE HAD A BLAST!!!!   I do wish time would slow down, as I know my "babies" won't stay "babies" forever... but I honestly LOVE watching them grow up and become who they are.  Yes, I have hopes and dreams... all parents do, but in the end... I love that Nickelodeon is putting out new tv shows, but unfortunately Savannah is stuck on a couple favorites right now...
