Meet - Ward Wright

I'm using my blog to ask a HUGE favor for all of my readers...
I have a story that I need to share.

I went to college with two of the very sweetest people.
Tom and Maranda.
Well, after college, everyone headed in their own direction.
Just in the past year, their name came up again.

They ended up getting married and have built a very beautiful family.
This past year, their little boy, Ward was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma.

I am asking you all for your prayers for them.
They need prayers to face all that lies ahead.
They need prayers that the doctors will know what to do.
Ward needs your prayers in overcoming this!

I received an email today for a prayer request:

Wednesday, November 11, 2009 4:37 AM, EST
We are desperately seeking your prayers. Ward has only slept an hour and a half tonight and is in agony because of his unexplained itching. He has received every type of anti-itch medication and cream available with absolutely no relief. He is suffering beyond belief right now and it is killing us to watch. Our health care team has no answers for us and are treating on a trial and error basis. The Lord has made himself so very present during this entire journey however I am having a very hard time understanding the suffering. Nobody has ever, or will ever, experience the suffering of Jesus Christ but that doesn't make it any easier to watch your child writhe in agony. I am weary and frustrated right now. To add insult to injury, Ward's blood counts dropped today. Counts usually fluctuate initially but Ward's haven't decreased in several days. I don't think this is a problem but definitely not encouraging. I wish every day would be filled with peace and joy but that's not reality. This is a horrible disease and it will test one's faith. Please stand with us against the enemy. It is quite a challenge to speak faith-based optimism while watching your child roll around in bed in misery. My heart doesn't doubt that the Lord will rescue Ward from this but it is extremely hard to exercise patience. Sorry for the gloomy report but it's the reality. I beg for your prayers. In His Love, Maranda

Another prayer push will began last night at midnight. To signup you can go to www.mysignup.com/prayersforwardwright

If you can, will you PLEASE pray for them?
Also, to all the other bloggers...
If you would like to share this, we would appreciate it...
The more prayers...
The better...

I was looking at the photos on the caringbridge page and I had tears coming...
They are amazing people and are so strong... In their FAITH and in each other!
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers...
