Aloha Friday #67

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question/statement is . . .

Do you watch anything special on New Years Eve?

My answer:
When I am lucky enough to not have to work...... We always watch Dick Clark....
Will be doing that tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. We don't watch anything special other than the ball dropping. This year we picked up Shrek 4 since we didn't get a chance to see it while it was out. So we will watch that then play some board games.

  4. We usually watch the ball drop but won't this year. We're going to my daughter's in-laws for a bonfire party.

  5. We usually watch a movie, then turn it to Dick Clark sometime after 11:30 to make sure we don't miss the ball drop. :) Happy New Year! :)

  6. We don't have any traditions for TV viewing on NYE. One year we happened to catch a great evening of contemporary Christian concerts, but we haven't seen that again.

My goal is to be asleep by about 9, but I think I'm outnumbered. ;) Happy New Year!

  8. I always grew up watching Dick Clark as well. Will probably watch that and flip to other items during the night.

  9. Normally we watch the tv marathons or the news newyears celebration around the world. This year my friends family is coming over, so we will be playing some games and watching a movie.

  10. We usually run from window to window to see the fireworks and watch the countdown on tv and eat and enjoy the downtime with the kids.

Happy New Year to you beautiful!

  11. We always watch Dick Clark too; it was a little sad this year though, he's aged so much. Happy New Year to you and your family!

  12. I've been watching the Twilight Zone Marathon since my kids were little every new year's eve, but we turn over to Dick Clark at about 5 minutes before midnight. I cannot stand the musical acts that have been on over the last 10 years or so.
This year we were at a party and the TV was on Dick Clark, but we had our own music on so it was really weird. At one point it looked like N'Sync was singing "Sweet Home Alabama" because of the CD we had on... TeeHee
Then of course, all New Year's Day, I finished watching Twilight Zone.

  13. I was in bed with a bad cough!
Every year, we would watch the fireworks from our balcony (we have quite a spectacular view) and watch whatever New Year's Eve special that's on TV.
