W/W - Yummy Food

I do not remember what blog I was reading...
but they were talking about the "A Year of Slowcooking" blog.
Of course I had to check it out...
and I am SO GLAD I did!
I found this SUPER SUPER Easy recipe for Peperoncini Beef Sandwiches.

I mean, they were NOT joking when it says put it in and you are done.
We bought a loaf of french bread...
Cut it up and made sandwiches on it...
HUGE sandwiches.
More than one meal.
The peppers do not make it spicy, it just gives it flavor...
We have already made this twice and plan on having it again and again...

Hope the picture starts to show you just how yummy it is!

  2. Funny Noey b/c I make this all of the time. I do it a little different than this recipe calls for...it's originally from the www.allrecipes.com site. I started making this about 4 years ago. It's one of John's favorites and my co-workers favorites too as I bring some to share! Love ya! Hil

  9. Yep is was awesome! Thanks for sharing this recipe. And for the "Dieters" out there... you can use a leaner roast such as the shoulder roast, the peppers are naturally low fat, Mozzarella as well. Then roll it all up in a whole wheat tortilla!!!
My husband has a great idea: take the peppers (after they cooked), grind them down to a paste, add some mayo (light Mayo for dieters) and garlic, mix and this makes a GREAT sauce for this sandwich!!
