Tell me that doesn't have you all excited ready to go?
We took Broxton last year and he really had a great time... I just know that this year will be even more exciting for him, as he is older now and his personality keeps opening up more and more!
This seems to come to town around the same time each year, so it is nice to use this to kick start his birthday celebration!  I am all about traditions... and this will be our second year, I guess we have a birthday tradition now!  (Sort of makes up for daddy being deployed the first year and not being able to celebrate with us!)

Going last year, we learned that you in fact do want to get there early.
To begin with, the lines do start rather quickly...
We actually got there pretty early (wanted to beat traffic) and grabbed a bite to eat in CNN center.
Then, we went ahead and joined the lines to get in.
Once in... you get to go down on the circus floor for a Pre-Show.
That was pretty exciting for all of us...
We got clown noses... perfect for pictures..
Then, we watched an elephant paint a picture..
(You get to enter to win it and I really wanted it, to celebrate Broxton's birthday.  Needless to say, we did not win, but it sure was fun hoping to!)
The Pre-Show allowed us to get a bit "up close and personal"  that meant GREAT PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES!!!
Well, I just wanted to let you know that it was headed our way...
I will be going ... and you know what that means...
Pictures for you to show how exciting the trip was!!!!

***  I will be receiving media passes for us to attend.  I was not asked to post this, I just wanted to let you know so that you could get tickets. ***

Comments

  1. I hope you have fun! We took our boys once and they thought it would be like Cirque de Soleil. It's what we have on DVD. Prior to the Ringling Bros they had only seen Cirque de Soleil. They just envisioned the wrong circus.
