As you are out working on your Christmas list, I wanted to share a new to us restaurant we just visited.  We were given the chance to go and check out Tropical Smoothie and we made a day of it.  Tropical Smoothie is located right near a movie theater, so we went for dinner (and smoothies) and then headed over to enjoy a movie night...  But more about the dinner!
Tropical Smoothie has so many choices and they each sound so delicious.
I ended up getting Broxton the Baja Chicken.  He normally loves stuff like this, but he was too worked up about the movie, so he only had a few bites.  I tried it and it was so tasty!  I went with the Ultimate Club and Oh-My-Goodness!  It was awesome and will for sure be what I order again (after I try a few other things out.)

Baja Chicken:
Chicken, Low-Fat Mozzarella, Green
& Red Peppers, Onions, Romaine & Light Southwest Ranch on a Toasted Flatbread

Ultimate Club:
Ham, Turkey, Bacon, Swiss, Parmesan, Tomatoes, Field Greens & Chipotle Mayo on a Toasted Ciabatta

Bahama Mama:
Strawberries, Pineapple, White Chocolate & Coconut

While the food and drinks were amazing, I do have to tell you about the decor.  Of course with the name Tropical Smoothie, you expect it to have a "tropical" feel to it... and you are correct.  Once you walk in, you feel like you have headed to the Islands for a bit,  I will admit I expected to hear loud reggae music or something, but there wasn't.  They had a nice feel to the place, but it was peaceful. My mom is not a fan of places with music that is "loud" at all, so I know she would love it here!
If you are looking for somewhere to escape for a moment during these winter months, you need to check out Tropical Smoothie!
If you are looking for a bite to eat... or a great gift... Look into Tropical Smoothie...
A gift card to there would be a great gift to open this holiday season!
