Silicone Kitchen has you covered! #Review
I was just talking to a friend about how time flies so fast and the next thing you know, your "babies" aren't babies anymore. I was discussing wanting to try and make some cookies on Christmas Eve and I am so excited to know that we have the Silicone Mats to use this year! To be honest, I have heard that these things are absolutely AMAZING, but we don't bake enough to use them... so I have been hesitant to purchase them. Fun Fact: I actually put them on my wish list and then BOOM- we were given the chance to share them on the blog! Winner Winner, bake some cookies for after dinner!!!!
I do have to say, the Silicone Kitchen gift set arrived for us and the packaging was nice and very sophisticated! Like, I would totally give this as a gift for everything from an anniversary to a wedding and birthdays and hostess gifts in between!
FROM THE SILICONE KITCHEN SITE:
INCLUDES Includes two half-sheet silicone baking mats (one sage green, one dark gray), and two quarter-sheet silicone baking mats (one sage green, one dark gray). Each pair comes packaged in a cotton, reusable produce bag – great for storage and use at your local farmer’s market, also makes for great presentation for gift-giving
NON-STICK & NON-SKID Great for kneading dough, pastries, roasting vegetables, baking cookies and more. The 100% food-grade silicone is non-stick, therefore there is no need for grease or non-stick spray, parchment paper, aluminum foil or other surface protectors. Non-skid back makes for easy kneading dough without moving the mat, as well as an ideal countertop protector and/or table or dinner mat for adults, children, toddlers and more
NON-TOXIC & BPA FREE Each baking mat is made of 100% food-grade silicone meeting FDA and European LFGB standards, BPA free, and free of odor and taste
EASY TO CLEAN Each set is dishwasher safe, and is also easy to clean with soap and water
EASY TO USE Each baking mat is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. Safe to use in temperatures between -40°F to 446°F (-40° C to 230° C)
Not going to lie, when I saw that the mat could also be used for a hot iron, I did feel a bit stupid, as that would have never crossed my mind in a million years... but HELLO- talk about a versatile item!!! Would you have ever even thought it that????
