Old Trapper, It's In The Basket!!!! #Review

When I start thinking of treats to give my kids for Easter, I try to think of non candy options - from Halloween until Easter, it is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET.  So by this point, I don't really think they need more!  We have fallen in love with the satisfaction of treating ourselves to Old Trapper Jerky and have decided that is to be added to the treat this year!

Perfect for road trips- think FAMILY VACATION this summer.... It is great to have a bag (or bags) on hand for the whole family!  Normally, when I pick Savannah up from school she is "STARVING" so its nice to give her a little bite to hold over until dinner.  With Broxton playing football, I am ALWAYS hearing about " I NEED PROTEIN" so this is great for him too!  I just like the taste and convenience of it for me, if I am being totally honest!

What will the Easter Bunny bring your house this year?

Old Trapper Traditional Jerky – 11 grams of protein!
Old Trapper uses lean cuts of real steak, which are then marinated and smoked using real wood resulting in a tender, never-tough jerky.
Available in: Old Fashioned, Peppered, Hot & Spicy, Teriyaki, and Zero Sugar.

Old Trapper Kippered Beef – 21 grams of protein!
Made for the steak lover, Old Trapper Kippered Beef is made from thick strips of lean beef that are seasoned and then smoked with real wood. High in protein, Old Trapper Kippered Beef is the perfect go-to snack.
Available in: Original, Teriyaki, and Peppered.

Now, I was not a fan of the peppered jerky.  I have to say, I am not a fan of anything hot or spicy... and this was a bit too peppery for me.  I gave Savannah a taste and she agreed she was not a fan of the pepper... but let me tell you this, Broxton inhaled it talking about how much he loved the flavor!
We have not tried the Beef Steak yet, but with the 21 grams of protein, I am planning on getting some for Broxton to have on days he stays for football practice. The days are long and I think this would help hold him over until he gets home and has dinner!

Have you tried Old Trapper before?  Are you a fan of Beef Jerky?
