urthy SCENTS for yourself and your home!

We were invited to Urthy Scents for a little holiday treat and to say Savannah was excited, well - I don't know how to describe it in words.. My girl loves a good scent just as much as the next one!   She was excited to check out the signature fragrances, as well as the sugar scrubs!  I can't lie - I was so excited to check out the signature scents!!!

I have so much that I want to tell you about- but I know you don't want to read a book... So I will just focus on a couple of the highlights for us!  So- we get to urthy SCENTS and as we walk in- we are just in awe- it was overwhelming, but in a good way - in a way like I WANT IT ALL!!!!   One thing to note, although it is a store that is selling fragrances, it was NOT overwhelming like so many are as far as the scent knocking you out from the entrance!

So, one of the highlights for Savannah - the sugar scrub station!!  Yall, they had a cart set up that was like an ice cream stand..  She got to pick the color she wanted - "mom, of course you KNOW I want pink!"  Then, she got to pick her scent- I hate to say it, but I can not remember which one she went with..  Finally, she got to pick a "topping" to go in her scrub!  She went with the Aloe, due to her skin...  She absolutely LOVED the scent when she was finished and she was so proud that SHE got to make it just the way she wanted it to smell!!!!

The signature scents with descriptions to go with them.  We had these to choose from, plus a good amount of other scents to add to create our signature scent! 

So - as I said, there was an array of scent vials to check out.  You could add the scent on a scrap of paper (some people just opened the vial and smelt it there)   I took a couple scents and mixed them together to get the perfect scent for me.  The thing is, you tell them just how much or little you want of a scent and they literally create it just the way you want it.  Once it is created, you give the final " yes" or we need to change it up - then it is finished off and you can put it in a roller or a spray bottle depending upon the size you want to purchase.  

Another section of the store that I had my eye on (thanks to the urthy instagram page....) The Elixir System.  This is a line that is created based upon your skin age- they have the younger line and then each age section, I got the forties (obviously!) and while you can buy the elixir and booster, I chose to just get the 7 day trial to see how it was.  

Other areas- 

They obviously had candles - LOVE THEM and yes, they are now on my Christmas list!  They have incense and diffusors...  They also had car diffusors and once we got home, Savannah was quick to ask why we did not grab a car diffusor.  I told her that would be a great gift for Christmas!

As I said, we loved it!  I ended up making a couple scents because I could not figure out what I really liked the most! I wanted it all!  The thing I really love about it?  We can make this scent (and I am wearing one now) but I can also go back and get it made as a candle or any of the home scents!  I LOVE that!!!

Now - hear me out - 

While I was excited to share this with you - my mind started racing as to how other people can enjoy as well! You just need to call and book the "lab" for your time! 

1 - This would be a great trip to do for a bachelorette party.  You could all go make scents for yourself to start the night.  

2 - You could do a girls night out- just because!

3- You could book a graduation party for your graduate! 

They also have "Scentscaping"packages.  I loved learning about this, as it can be used for weddings.  How cool would it be to have a signature scent for your wedding? Depending upon your budget, you could even look at giving candles or other items to your wedding party or guests or whatever you would like to do! Tell me that is not the coolest?!?!?!?!

Over all - we had the most amazing time!  The staff was so nice, we even got to meet Jen, the founder!  She was so sweet and spoke with Savannah about her eczema and different products that would be good for her.  I can't not tell you about the treats.  They had cupcakes from Cupcakin Bake Shop that went with the signature scents.  They even had drinks to go with it. Talk about thinking of it all for a fun day!  
Again, we really had a great time and knowing it is only about 15 minutes from my brothers house... That was awesome!!! We will be back again and I am already trying to plan what I am going to buy next  Make sure to check out urthy scents and grab a few for yourself and someone you love!
