I can't hear it!  Turn it up!  That is too loud, turn it down!  That is what road trips used to sound like for me...  Broxton loved having his tablet on and playing his games... but Marc wanted to listen to music (I mean, there is only so much theme music to Angry Birds someone can take, right?)  So that was the cycle... Broxton wanted to hear his games, Marc wanted to hear music and me.. Well, I just wanted to sleep!  Hello, some of the best naps are in the car, at least for me that is how it goes!

I bought Broxton ear phones for the car trip, but he was never really a fan... After the newness wore off, he no longer wanted to wear them.  What that meant was back to hearing his games and I knew I wasn't wasting more money on ear phones...  (To be honest, the sound doesn't bother me.. I just tune it out.)   I was given an opportunity to review the collegiate collection of  on the ear headphones from Sol Republic and I fell in love with the ones representing my UGA Bulldogs!   I wanted them for me, since I enjoy listening to things on my computer while the boys are watching things on TV or playing video games.  I knew that this was the perfect answer for me.  Not to mention what  a nice gift to give myself!  

 When they arrived, I knew I was happy with my choice!  The bright red! The sharp Georgia Logo!   The sleek look and the ease of adjusting the ear piece to fit my big head... It was perfect.  Then, I saw the inside!  It said  "Hairy Dawg" and I knew that they went the extra mile to make sure that Georgia fans such as myself would be very please and proud to wear these anywhere!   

I was very impressed with the quality of the sound, the way they felt on my ears and of course the look of them.  I guess I spoke about them a little too much, because on game day when we headed to Athens to watch the Bulldawgs play, look what Broxton decided to pack for him on the road trip!   He loved them and I think they went with his outfit, don't you agree?  He wore them pretty much the whole way to Athens and then on the way back home! I think he was pretty proud of how he looks, am I right?  

Since returning from our road trip, there have been a few times when I have noticed that Broxton would go and get the headset for him to play on his tablet when I was watching a TV show or something.  I crack up now, since they are like gold around here!  My stepson who thinks he bleeds purple and gold and acts like he would rather be dead than wear any red and black was also busted with them on!  He even thought it was okay for him to take them to his room for him to use... I don't think so!  I don't get much, and my goodness these are staying mine!
