It is getting closer to time for our baby to arrive, so that means I am at least thinking about packing a bag to take to the hospital. I know I need to get my things in order, but I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to packing. (I think I get it from my mom, she packs morning of the trip... I am not that bad, yet!) Anyways, I asked a few friends what they thought were must have items and I got ideas like suckers, lip balm and more... One thing I didn't think of, because we have it in almost every room? Lotion! Yes!!!! Being that I have worked with Vaseline for what feels like a million years now, I knew that would be the lotion of choice! Lucky for me, they have a new (to me) product, so I wanted to check it out. I was sent the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Healing Serum. This stuff feels so good and it smells amazing! I am not sure the scent, but I like it! It isn't overpowering, but it is subtle enough that it leaves me sniffing my hands to get an extra whiff! (Hey, gotta be honest!)
Moisturizes to heal and calms severely dry skin
Gentle on skin
Dermatologist tested
Soft scents of rose and amber
Non-greasy formula
BEST FOR: DRY SKIN, CRACKED SKIN
After a few days at the pool, we had a few of us with a bit of sunburn, so I was pretty excited to see that we also had a new supply of the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray! I love this since it is so easy to use... Not to mention when you are pregnant, it is hard to maneuver and reach all the different spots, so this is perfect to spray and help you out!!!!

Finally, we were sent a nice new jar of Vaseline Jelly. I like keeping this on hand during the winter, so it is great to go ahead and stock up now! (Works great on your lips too!)

I can't be having dry skin when it is time to love on this sweet new baby headed our way, so I need to actually stock up on more of the Vaseline lotions. Out of all that I have tried, I think the Healing Serum is my favorite and Marc loves the lotions. Seriously, I think we have a bottle or a spray can in almost every room of our house. You never know when you will feel like you have really dry skin and need to hydrate!!!!
What is a must have you packed, or something that you wished you would have packed in your hospital bag?
I love using Vaseline Intensive care lotion. I like their Cocoa Butter lotion but would love to try the healing serum. I always have to have lotion and lip balm.
How awesome that you are almost ready to have your baby. I love the Vaseline brand of products and have every one of these shown in this blog post. They are really good in keeping my skin moisturized and free from dry skin!
I would definitely want to try the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray. If the kids got a little too much sun, this would be perfect. Also, I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for everything. I always have one of these in my bag.
I LOVE going to the pool, but I normally get burnt. With that being said, I KNOW I am not the only one :) I am always looking to see what other sun protection is out there. With Memorial Day around the corner, I know that many people will be outside enjoying the weather. I wanted to share with you a product that we will be using Memorial Day, as well as throughout the summer! Also, I never really gave much thought, but I always said I needed "sunblock." Then, I got to thinking... is sunBLOCK what I need? I thought that the sun was supposed to be good, you know... Vitamin D and all? Thank goodness MelanSol explained it to me! MelanSol is a sunscreen, it allows 3-10 5 of the suns UV Rays to reach your skin. Remember, the Vitamin D? See, I knew I was not going crazy!!! You know I am not one for quoting all sorts of stuff from their site, so you can click over to the MelanSol FAQ to learn more, but I did want to share this with you: From their site: Q. Why should you adopt...
As we all know, it can sometimes be a bit difficult to take the temperature of a sick child. Hey, some adults are known to be big babies... The longer they have to wait, the fussier they become. Well, with the Exergen Temporal Scanner ... Wait is something that can be eliminated! Why do I say that? Just because the wait is merely 2 seconds! During that time, you will already be finished a gift giveaway blog hop, exergen temporal scanner, mom must have, R nd moving on to something else. I really like the ease of the Exergen Thermometer. It has a soft tip on it that you gently swipe across the forehead of your "patient." There are two things that make this stand out compared to others that I have used. One - If you are sweating, you can place it behind your ear to get your temperature. Two - There is a light on both sides to show you that it is on. I like that, as I sometimes worry if it is on or not... You know how I can be! First, remove the protective cap... Turn it on... ...
Please let me go ahead and just say... I think/KNOW that the PowerMat will be one of the HOTTEST items this year! Have you heard of this? I mean, seriously! This is Awesome and I am using that since I can not think of any other way to explain it... (Are there really words that would explain something this cool?!) Okay, let me just cut to the heart of it... The PowerMat is just that... A MAT full of POWER! It is a little bit longer than an average book... Thinner than a cell phone. It looks like a skateboard (in my opinion.) and it charges 3 different technological gadgets at once! Do you know what that means? You NO LONGER need 3 cords, no more messy tangles... Just one cord to plug the mat in and you are done!!!! I was sent the PowerMat for review and I am so very impressed! The PowerMat can charge 3 different items... Marc and I have blackberries... (They can now BOTH charge on here AT THE SAME TIME!) We also have several IPods ... The docking station for the IPod can charge my...

ReplyDeleteI'm pregnant too so I'll have to pick up that aloe spray!
