It is getting closer to time for our baby to arrive, so that means I am at least thinking about packing a bag to take to the hospital. I know I need to get my things in order, but I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to packing. (I think I get it from my mom, she packs morning of the trip... I am not that bad, yet!) Anyways, I asked a few friends what they thought were must have items and I got ideas like suckers, lip balm and more... One thing I didn't think of, because we have it in almost every room? Lotion! Yes!!!! Being that I have worked with Vaseline for what feels like a million years now, I knew that would be the lotion of choice! Lucky for me, they have a new (to me) product, so I wanted to check it out. I was sent the Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Relief Healing Serum. This stuff feels so good and it smells amazing! I am not sure the scent, but I like it! It isn't overpowering, but it is subtle enough that it leaves me sniffing my hands to get an extra whiff! (Hey, gotta be honest!)

Dermatologist tested
Soft scents of rose and amber
Non-greasy formula
BEST FOR: DRY SKIN, CRACKED SKIN
After a few days at the pool, we had a few of us with a bit of sunburn, so I was pretty excited to see that we also had a new supply of the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray! I love this since it is so easy to use... Not to mention when you are pregnant, it is hard to maneuver and reach all the different spots, so this is perfect to spray and help you out!!!!

I can't be having dry skin when it is time to love on this sweet new baby headed our way, so I need to actually stock up on more of the Vaseline lotions. Out of all that I have tried, I think the Healing Serum is my favorite and Marc loves the lotions. Seriously, I think we have a bottle or a spray can in almost every room of our house. You never know when you will feel like you have really dry skin and need to hydrate!!!!
What is a must have you packed, or something that you wished you would have packed in your hospital bag?
I love using Vaseline Intensive care lotion. I like their Cocoa Butter lotion but would love to try the healing serum. I always have to have lotion and lip balm.
How awesome that you are almost ready to have your baby. I love the Vaseline brand of products and have every one of these shown in this blog post. They are really good in keeping my skin moisturized and free from dry skin!
I would definitely want to try the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Spray. If the kids got a little too much sun, this would be perfect. Also, I use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for everything. I always have one of these in my bag.

I do not know if I ever mentioned this or not, but my grandmother used to love to sew. I always thought that whenever I had a baby, I would have tons of little adorable outfits... My grandmother made the outfit that we brought Broxton home from the hospital in. Of course, when I opened that gift, I cried! Well, needless to say, my grandmother doesn't sew these days... But, that doesn't stop me from looking at all the adorable baby clothes out there! I have mentioned before that Marc has all boys... I cross my fingers that if we ever have another baby, we have a girl. Either way, I would be thrilled beyond belief, but a little girl to dress in those adorable tutus and baby headbands would be so fun! I know, I bet some of you never would have thought that from me!!!! You would be surprised what motherhood does to you! I won't lie... If Uncle Ashton ever braves it to take Broxton out to play golf, we just might have to splurge and get him the cute little baby hat that lo...
I have mentioned numerous times how much I love reading and that I hope my love of reading is passed down to Broxton . When he was first born, we started reading... Yes, he also read with his mouth, as ALL of his board books from that time can show you! I wish I would have known of SoftPlay books at that point, but once again, I am a little late to that party! Lucky for me, they also have books geared to the 2+ age group, so Broxton was able to check it out! We were sent two books and Broxton has enjoyed them both! The first book : Things that Go. The second book : Numbers. Have you ever seen a SoftPlay Lift and Look Book before? Let me see if I can try and explain. It is made out of that foamy material. Soft enough to not hurt a child, but hard enough that it isn't like a sponge. It is thick like a board book. On top of the foam is the paper part that makes the book. They use BRIGHT colors and SHINY paper to make it eye catching! Then, on each page... There are the area...
