Broxton's Favorite Show - Odd Squad - The O Games
You know how you get the end of the year report card during the summer? Well, when Broxton's arrived, I was proud for the good marks he got. Want to know something else??? There was an additional sheet in there about testing scores... and MY BABY BOY scored "ADVANCED" in math!!! YEAH!!!! I was so proud. He was proud too. He loves math and I honestly love when he watched Odd Squad, because I get to watch his little brain at work as he answers the math questions with the show!!! I am so happy we received this DVD to add to our collection. I am giving it to him as a back to school surprise!

Odd Squad- The O Games
Things are about to get very odd…! PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing “ODD SQUAD: THE O GAMES” on DVD, the latest title from the hit live-action PBS KIDS series ODD SQUAD. This new DVD featuring five stories from the popular series, one of which is a special extended adventure, will be available to fans nationwide beginning June 28.
In the story “The O Games,” select Odd Squad agents square off in several crazy math challenges – from the blob toss to the 25 centigurp dash – for a chance to be Ms. O for a day and run Odd Squad! Agent Otto is chosen to compete, but so is the villainous Odd Todd, Agent Olive’s former partner! Will Odd Todd strategically eliminate each of his competitors so he can win the competition and shut down Odd Squad forever?
Also featured on the new DVD is the story “Bad Luck Bears.” When a basketball behaves oddly at practice, the Bears’ coach seeks the help of the Odd Squad to set things straight. During a meeting at headquarters, Otto discovers that bad things happen to the Bears whenever the number 13 is involved. As the Odd Squad works to eliminate any 13s on the players, the Bears learn how different number combinations add up to 13.
“THE O GAMES” (SRP $12.99) has a run time of approximately 75 minutes and includes the following stories:
“The O Games” (extended adventure) - Odd Squad agents compete in several games to determine who gets to be Ms. O for the day.
“Bad Luck Bears” - When odd things start happening to the Bears basketball team, Olive and Otto must get to the bottom of the mystery – before the big game.
“Whatever Happened to Agent Oz?” - Olive tells Otto the story of what happened to Octavia’s partner, Agent Oz.
“Not So Splash” - In the middle of summer, Olive and Otto must figure out why parts of the town are turning snowy and cold.
“Skip Day” - When Olive catches a case of The Skips and goes missing, rookie agent Otto must solve his first case by himself.
I haven't seen this one. We haven't had TV for a year though!! I keep saying we're going to get one but we haven't gotten around to it. :)
