A blogger friend of mine sings praises about probiotics and to be honest with you, I have heard of them... but have never used them.  Until now... Let me clarify that though.  I have yet to use them for me (I know I need to and that is on my to do list, but I have been giving them to Savannah.)  I read online it was great to give it to them even more so after they were on antibiotics to try and help with adding the good bacteria back. I have yet to notice any difference, but then again, we are just now getting started with using them.
I wanted to share that Mommy Bliss has released BABY PROBIOTIC DROPS. (I thought this was very informative to read about probiotics and c-section babies.)  We use several of their products.... if you are not familiar with Gripe Water, you might want to get some and keep it on hand if you have a little one.

This product is pediatrician-recommended, 100% vegan and vegetarian, and quickly becoming a favorite amongst health-conscious parents. Formulated with non-GMO Corn Oil and the live culture Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG, this new product safely and effectively eases babies’ digestion.

Probiotics are living microorganisms that scientific research has shown to benefit human health. Most commonly these are bacteria, but they may also be yeasts. In some cases they are similar to, or the same as, the microbes already found in a healthy digestive tract. Many probiotics were originally isolated from common fermented foods such as yogurt. Mommy’s Bliss Baby Probiotic Drops contain the live culture Lactobacilus rhamnosus GG, the most widely studied probiotic in the world with over 800 scientific publications attesting to the safety and healthfulness of these beneficial bacteria. Like all dietary supplements you should discuss the use of probiotics with your baby’s doctor.

I know several people are having babies in the next month or two.  Make sure you head over to see what all Mommys Bliss has to offer.  Make them a gift basket to have on hand when they need it most!!!   Also, keep in mind when a baby is crying and no one can seem to get them to stop, mama would do almost anything...  Gripe Water and Probiotics would be a welcome stocking stuffer for mama to get a break!

  1. I could have used these when my boys were little - in and out of the hospital. They had too much antibiotics for being so young. They also saved their little lives.
