Penny for your Thoughts - Penny Stones Review and Giveaway

When you go to a party, do you take a hostess gift?
I hate to say it, but I have not been to many (if any) parties at someones house...
Normally we just meet up at a public place...

BUT, if I were to go to a party...
I have found THE PERFECT hostess gift!

Have you heard the Quote " A penny for your thoughts" before?
Well, Penny Stones is the answer to that!
I think that this would be a perfect gift for any hostess...
As well as those who love a good old fashioned get together!

So, what exactly are Penny Stones?
Well, let me tell you!

Penny Stones are great conversation starters...
or even great thought provokers.
Penny Stones come in a very cute little clear bag with 21 "penny stones" and one penny inside.
The "penny stones" are phrases/questions that get the mind going.
They are made on recycled glass with the penny stones questions the glass.

The great thing is that the penny stones are made in the USA (Ohio to be exact) by people with disabilities.
We received the Original Edition.
They also carry Love and Marriage, New Parents, Slumber Party, and Faith editions.

I think the slumber party would be a great birthday/Christmas gift for a young lady.
The New Parents one would be awesome to pick up for a baby shower!

There are so many occasions that these would be great for!!
I really liked one persons idea...
They mentioned setting a penny stone (or two), depending upon the number of guests, at each place setting. Then, during the meal... answer your question and go around the table. Then pass the stones to people sitting beside you and start again.
As for me? I think it would be nice to set them in a jar in a "gathering area" of the party...
That way they could be used to break the ice with people that might not know each other that well.
Another use I saw was to have them set up at meetings, kind of like an easy break up of the seriousness of the meetings...

I really think that this is a great gift..
I would go so far as to say that this would make a great gift for newlyweds as a way to start a family tradition!!!!

Now, Wouldn't It Be Nice... Under The Tree... for someone you love?

You can order them on the Penny Stones website for only $15 ...
Or
You can try to win a set here first!!!

One lucky winner will receive the Original Penny Stones Set

  42. I would like to use these for conversation starters around the dinner table once a week. Maybe pull one stone and then have everyone answer. If we kept it to once a week, it wouldn't get old and we's have something extra to look forward to for that night. Also, by the time we got through with all 21, we could start over and see how our answers have changed.
