Kinderware Puppy - Review

Image
Broxton and I were sent a Kinderware Puppy Yo-Yo Doll for review from Wild Dill.
If you have not heard of Wild Dill, let me tell you a little about them...
All the items that they sell are natural and organic. You can click HERE to see just why they are choosing to go the organic/natural route. I hate to admit, but I never really gave it much thought before, but I see now that I should be paying more attention. I am really enjoying finding such a great eco-friendly company!!!! They have the cutest things!
The clothing that they sell is just adorable! It is organic and I have heard that the BAMBOO clothes are just super soft and so much better for babies with sensitive skin. The toys are items that I have never seen anywhere!
I think that is why I chose for us to review the Kinderware Puppy!
I mean, look at it!
Have you seen anything like it?
Let me tell you about it. It is made of left-over pieces of fabric. It is handmade in Bolivia!
The fabric alone is beautiful. Broxton loves playing w…

Aloha Friday # 19

Image
It is FRIDAY! ALOHA!!!!
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
After you answer, head on over and visit Kailani and visit others...
My question this week: (It is a 2 parter, sorry!) Are you a morning person? What time do you wake up in the morning?
As for me... I love to sleep! I am not a morning person, I just want to sleep... Let me sleep for a while and I am good. (Did I mention I love to sleep?!)
Well, now that I am a mommy, we are up most mornings by 6:30/7:00/ and Broxton is SO HAPPY in the morning! I am not sure where that comes from, but it is so worth it to get up and see him playing and talking and just so…

Parking in Egypt

I have been driving my dad's car for a while now.
You see, I needed to borrow it when we got the boys(more room) and remember my car seat ordeal??? Well, we ended up having my cousins husband install the car seat. (No lie, he is an engineer...)
He installed it for me in my dads car and I have just not had the energy, nor desire, to try and figure out how to install it back in my car again.
BUT, I am ready for it to be back in mine.

I have a question for you...
When you go to the store...
Where do you park?
Do you grab the first one you come to? Or do you ride around, circling the parking lot waiting for something to come closer? Or, are you like... MY DAD?

He parks so far out... I mean, if I wanted to exercise, I would go to the gym or something, but not him... I think guys like him are why men started dropping women off at the door so they could park. Just to not listen to us complain about how long of a walk it is. When you go with my dad, plan on taking a bottle of water, t…

Almost Forgot - Valentine's Day is SOON

Image
Okay, okay...
So shoot me!
With Marc being gone, I have not really given much thought to Valentine's Day!
I mean, my Valentine is not here... I will not be going out to dinner or anything like that...

BUT, I do have a sweet baby Valentine!
So, I bought him a card ( Do other moms buy cards for their first Valentine with the baby? Or am I crazy? I just thought it would be cute with all his other "first" cards...)
Anyways...

Buying that made me want to remind you about Bea's Gift Baskets...
I posted about them before with Christmas, so I just wanted to keep that buzz in your ear with Valentine's Day right around the corner...

Bea's has a little of this and a lot of that...
Enough to choose from for whomever your sweetie is that you want to send something to!

I like the "We've Got True Love" gift set...
It comes with those cute little monkeys!
(Yep, I think the main reason I like this one is because of the name and the monkeys!)

The other gift basket I like is th…

Happy 101 Award

Image
I just received a new award!
Yay! Rita over at One 2 Try Awarded this to me!
Here are the rules... To accept the "Happy 101 Award" I need to: 1.) acknowledge the person who gave it to me - My dear friend Rita, 2.) list ten items that make me happy, and 3.) award it to ten other bloggers.
MY 10 things that make me happy?!?!?!?!?!?!
1. My life. I love it, I think I am a truly blessed person. I have wonderful friends and family. 2. My husband. He is great! I think he is a true American Hero, he is an amazing husband and an outstanding daddy! 3. My son. I never, ever, EVER thought I could love anything as much as this little boy. Every day he puts the BIGGEST smile on my face. I think you never know a love like this until you are a parent. 4. The Internet. I get to talk to Marc while he is deployed on here... It keeps me updated, yes... I need to see what TMZ has to say, or the online newspaper... or all the blogs I follow... I seriously wonder what I did before there wa…
