Getting to see him learn and grow, absolutely amazing!  Summer is so fun for us, since there is no worry about having to get up and go to school, it is about enjoying being at home and as always, making memories! One thing I am not fond of?  Running from here to there and having to worry about what to cook for dinner. This summer started off a bit busy for us.  We had his preschool graduation, a big brother graduation, karate classes went to 2 times a week instead of 1 and he was still in baseball! Are you on of the millions of people that just so happens to be watching the Olympics? We are really getting into them! Actually, Broxton has been excited to see the "Pa-Infents" every time they come on! From the opening ceremony, until now, we have watched at some point each day! I learned more about my husband too, I had no clue that he would genuinely take an interest in each sport... from Boxing (that was a given) to the trampoline (okay, let me be honest, I had no clue they even HAD trampoline as a sport)  we are loving it... Side note, (totally time for me to toot my own horn here)  I met an Olympian once... Yes, true story!    A friend and I went to Seattle on vacation one year and we went over to her aunt and uncles house for dinner... Her younger cousin came in (for just a bit and then was out the door to go practice) and we had a brief meeting... Well, how about that little cousin that I met those years ago... Just happens to be COURTNEY THOMPSON...  ...

What are you all doing this summer? Are you travelling?  Have family coming to visit?   Or are you just taking it easy and maybe planning a staycation? No matter what you have planned (or have already done)  Coca Cola and Wal-Mart want to be with you to make it a Summer To Remember! As you know by now, Coca Cola is a given at our house... Like knowing that we WILL have the Air Conditioner on... There will be air to breathe... and we will have coke to drink.  It is funny, if we go somewhere that doesn't offer coke (but brings us one when we order it..) We know the difference, call them out on it and then proceed to order something else... How long have you been an Idol fan? I watched in the beginning...   Then, work schedule did not allow for it. BUT, we would put the start of Idol on (when the not so good were trying to get that Golden Ticket to Hollywood)  Hey, I worked in a bar and people thought it was funny... Last Year, Marc and I started watching it each week. We would have our favorites and each week we would judge the competition.  I mean, really... We were just like J.Lo, Stephen and Randy.  You know that Marc has Coke running through his veins, so all he really needs is the coke glass that is on their table to be just like them! As we go into the 11th Season of American Idol, Coke wants to continue bringing you fun things to do as a family for Family Night.  I can tell you this...
