Time to Doodle and Have Fun with Doodle Roll

Image
I don't know about your house... But around here, we like to stay busy...creative, artsy, fun, excited... and yes, we love to nap and lounge around too!  But, back to the exciting part of it all!!! Whenever we go anywhere, I try to have something for Broxton to be entertained... If we are going somewhere that we might be a bit, I try to bring a couple books or something...  I have now found a new idea to add to our creativity bag!  The Doodle Roll! Have you heard of it?!   It is such a great idea, I am wondering why it has not been around for ages... You know how some restaurants have kids coloring pages? Well, it is like that... but better! The Doodle Roll is a cute and compact item.  (Meaning, you can throw it in your purse or diaper bag... ) It is a roll of paper (you pick, large or small roll... that means 15 or 30 feet!) Also with the roll, it comes in a simple plastic carry case... WITH the crayons... and the carry case?  Yeah, it is a doub

Costume Discounters Has SO Much to Choose From!

Image
I always thought that it was just little girls that liked to play dress up... Until, Broxton!   He loves to dress up as a soldier man and be like his daddy...  or to pretend to be a pirate... Well, I headed on over to see if I could find anything cute for when Broxton plays dress up. He has decided that he likes talking about "super heroes"... not really sure where that has come from, but I have noticed that he is very much a sponge on any and everything these days... So, I went to the costume discounters site and had to check out the boys TV costumes . Photo Credit: Jumpin Beans You must have written consent to use this photo.  Sure enough... they had superheroes, trains, and even officially licensed WWE costumes! I was a bit shocked to find these, so I was so excited to get it for Broxton!  Now, with this particular costume... There is both a positive and a negative, in my opinion... The positive?  The costume! We not only got the cut

I Really DO Put It On Everything! Franks RedHot

Image
You know the old lady in the Frank's RedHot sauce commercials? You know what I am talking about?  The lady that says " I put that $#!@ on everything!" Well, let me tell you about her... I am a younger version of her!!! For the longest time, I never liked hot sauce...  I was not a fan, then... I started to like hot wings a bit... but that was about it... My friends would dip their fries in hot sauce, pour it on their food and all sorts of other thing, but not me... That has all changed! I was recently sent three bottles of Frank's RedHot sauce...  The Original, the Thick and the Sweet Chili. It is just soooo good!  I think that the others I have tried have a weird taste, maybe a vinegar taste to it? Either way, this does not compare... I am totally digging it! I have noticed that I really do put it on everything! I have used the sauces to dip my foods... from veggies to meats and french fries. I have used the sauce to add a bit of kick to my sandwiches...

Pocoyo and Earth Day ... We Can All Use the Help

To promote POCOYO’s Earth Hour initiatives, there is a new POCOYO DVD,  FUN & GAMES.    The DVD, which will be released on April 3 SRP: $12.99, features POCOYO, the fun-loving, curious little boy with a big personality.  Watch as he explores, plays games and has fun with his friends Pato, Elly, Loula and Sleepy Bird. Viewers can join them as they stage their own version of the Olympics, create a magic show and ride the new, big, scary slide in the playground.  Broxton has really enjoyed this DVD, I hate to admit it, but I get a bit lost in their accent... (I guess that is what you call it?)  All I know, is as soon as it starts, I clean or do things around the house... He sits and has rest time and seems to zone out to the television.  He was in there trying to tell me something about Pocoyo, but I just could not get what he was telling me.  Once things get a bit back to normal, I plan to attempt to watch this with him, but until then...   With Earth Day being March 31st, I want
