You know, its funny how kids gravitate towards things.  I am not sure how or why, but Savannah has fallen in love with horses. I am not sure how she came to love them, but she does.  When I heard they were releasing a show "Spirit Riding Free" on Netflix, I knew I would be checking it out to see what Savannah thought about it. I never really had skin problems growing up, but good grief... A few weeks ago, we had a rough time with Broxton. He kept complaining about a sore throat and a headache. I grabbed the thermometer, but no fever.  I thought he was just trying to get out of school, but he would be burning up, I think the thermometer was broken! I took him to see the doctor and she said his throat was really red, but that was about it.  He missed 2 days of school. Peppa Pig is a big hit in our house.  We love watching Peppa Pig and it seems like we watch it at least one time per day. If she's not watching Peppa, she's reading Peppa books or playing with her Peppa toys!! Did you know that Despicable Me 3 is headed our way this summer??? Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!  The release date is set for June 30th. Broxton and I always laugh at these movies, so you better believe that we will be planning a movie date to go see it! I just thought I would share with you, so that you can plan a movie date too! I don't think you can ever be too safe when it comes to water safety. I say "water safety" in general and not just children.  When Broxton played baseball, his team had a pool party. Many of the kids (and some parents) didn't know how to swim.  Of course that meant that I jumped in with them. I wasn't about to have a kid getting injured while I was there!  Broxton has had swimming lessons and I plan on Savannah having them soon as well! When Broxton was little, he was so in love with the movie, Cars. Lightning McQueen was just so super cool to him. That was why I was excited to get to take him to Disney and let him get his picture in front of him, years ago.  My "baby boy" might not be a "baby" anymore, but when Cars (or Cars 2) comes on, he will watch it with us, as we always stop to watch it out of habit and love. I am so excited that Cars 3 is headed our way, so I wanted to share this with you all. Know what happened on May 2, 2017?  Rugrats Season 1 and 2 were just released on DVD, that's what!!!  I remember seeing this when I was a kid (I would have been 12 in 1991) and as soon as I see the word "Rugrat" I immediately think of Tommy and Angelica!  How fun is this????
