Those that know me, know I love to read.  I have always hoped that my kids would love to read as much as I do. Broxton used to, but the older he gets, the more he tries to fight it (GOING ON AS I TYPE THIS NOW!!!!)    Savannah loves it and it makes this mama heart happy when she spots a book and says "Mama, can I read this to you?"  I try to make it a point to have books in each room of our house. We are always adding more books to our home library and have now started working on getting Little Free Libraries around town, first up Albany ENT in Albany, Georgia.  (Remember, we started with one at the Harley Dealership in Lithia Springs, Georgia) A few books we have added to our home library this year are listed below.  What are you reading? Twinderella #BookReview

Having twin cousins, it is time to share this story with them...  You have heard of Cinderella, but have you heard of Tinderella?  It is Cinderella's twin sister!  Yes, what a cute story about twins and splitting and sharing!   I thought it was cute and a great read!!!! Opinions expressed are  my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. In “Twinderella”, a modern spin on Charles Perrault’s classic tale Cinderella, we meet Cinderella’s lesser-known twin, Tinderella. The two split everything right down the middle. They each do half the housework, half the mending, and half the mean step-sister tending.

The Moon Inside - #RaisingAReader

Do you have a little one that is afraid of the dark?  If you do, then you might want to look at the book, The Moon Inside by Sandra Feder.  This is a cute book that talks about a little girl named Ella who is afraid of the dark, so she turns on all the lights in the house to erase the darkness at bedtime.  FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are  my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. The Moon Inside by Sandra Feder is a book that we had to read the day it was delivered.  I mean, when a one year old walks over to you with a book and climbs in your lap, who are you to say NO? As much as I love reading and hope to pass that love on to both of my children, you know I am the last one that will say no to a book!  We read it and got to meet a sweet little gir...

The Rootlets - Trouble at Plantasy Land #RaisingAReader

Image
Some books are just so cute that you can't help but laugh, right? We were sent book number 2 in a series, The Rootlets.  The Rootlets are four little kids that have superpowers that they are just now learning about. The kids, the Rootlets, are Carrotina, Brocc, Kaley and Cornelius.  (You know those names are just too cute!)   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Opinions expressed are  my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. As I mentioned, this is book two. I am not sure what book one was about, but it doesn't seem to me that you need to read it in order to enjoy this cute story.  So, we are reading Trouble at Plantasy Land . Plantasy Land is a fun theme park that they are headed to for opening day, except they arrive to see that it is having a bit of trouble and nothing is the ...
