Have you been to see Santa yet?  We were invited to go and check out the Adventure To Santa at North Point mall here recently and we had a great time.  Broxton was in school, so Savannah and I headed out for a "girls" trip. Have you ever heard of Adventure to Santa?  It really is pretty cool!!!! Like I said, it is Adventure to Santa and the one here in Atlanta is at North Point Mall.  The Adventure to Santa is tied in with Dreamworks Pictures and this year we had the chance to catch a ride (well, drive it actually!)  with Po from the Kung Fu Panda movies. If you have been here a while, you might remember last year was with Shrek and Savannah was NOT a fan of the sleigh ride. This ...

If you are anything like me, you see commercials and start wanting to go to that particular place, only to find out that there is not a location near you.  If it is an eating establishment, it is much worse than a store.  Stores mean you can normally shop online, ordering a meal, not so much!  That was the deal with us and Denny's until recently.  There is a Denny's heading south when we go visit family and there is a Denny's heading in the opposite direction. Near us? Nope, not a one!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. I was fortunate to have the chance to treat the family to dinner at Denny's recently.  We had a day trip and made it a point to stop at Denny's on the way home.  I have to admit, I don'...

This past weekend, we had a great time celebrating the re-release of Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 in anticipation of Kung Fu Panda 3.  Working with Fox Home Entertainment Insiders, we were sent a great package full of items to make this a great night...    Broxton could not remember what happened in Kung Fu Panda 2, so he was excited to see it again.  (He loved the first one so much that he named his stuffed panda from the zoo, Po.)  We made a day out of it and had snacks and all sorts of goodies to get the party started.  Perfect to do on a cold winter day!  Yes, it is finally getting cold here, even though it was in the 70's over Christmas Break.   Broxton was enjoying his sna...

With the boys here, we don't have time to watch much television..  When we do, there is normally a discussion over what to watch, as they don't want to watch the cartoons that Broxton watches and I am not having Broxton watch some of the things they watch...  That was why I was excited when Kung Fu Panda : Legends of Awesomeness showed up.  I knew that as much as we all love the "Furious Five," we would all enjoy this...  The thing was... Everyone was too busy to sit down and watch a movie...  That was great... as this is a DVD with several episodes on there...  So, you don't have to commit an hour or longer for a movie, this is awesome, as you have several episodes at shorter ti...

Broxton is at the age where he is really getting into the different holiday movies.  We love the Kung Fu Panda movies, so when I saw that they had a sort film that is called Kung Fu Panda Holiday, I was hopeful that we could add it to our movie collection.  It arrived just in time for us to be able to take it with us on our last "road trip" down to South Georgia.  We had to leave bright and early one morning, so I knew that Broxton was not going to be a happy camper.... As soon as I showed him the case of what he would be watching along the way, he was happy.  I will admit, I was jealous that I could only HEAR it, as Broxton was cracking up laughing!  We have watched it since we have been home, as I wanted to see it too!  At first, I was sort of put off as to why it seemed to be so rushed...  Yes, I knew it had a run time of only 26 minutes, but it seemed as though it was on fast forward... THEN it made sense... The way it was set up, about hal...

We all absolutely LOVED the first Kung Fu Panda, so when I saw that the second one was about to come out, I was hoping to get the chance to review it. We watched it here one night... I kept wanting to watch, but Broxton kept telling me that we had to wait for daddy to watch.  It was so funny, he even had to go put the DVD under the tree until Marc was home... So, we finally got to watch and it was another great movie. I will say that I felt like it wasn't as funny as the first one... It was still good, but it had a more serious tone than the original. In this movie, Po goes to China to help out... While there, he learns of his origins... Think about it, we never knew in the first one how he came to be where he was... This is a great movie and you can also get it as a 2 disc set... With the second one, you can also purchase the set which will include the Secrets of the Masters DVD. Now, I did not watch this one, but Marc and Broxton were enjoying it. In the other disc, ...
