I love looking at how much things have changed through the years... back when I worked in the restaurant, we had a couple that came in...  Both close to 100 and I loved chatting with them about how much things had changed since they were kids... It was a great way to get a different perspective and a great way to bond with the older generation.   Image Credit - KSB  The latest book for us?   Grandma, Aren't You Glad ... the World's Finally in Color Today! I will admit, I wasn't really eager to read it, as the title just did not really grab me.. You know you have a pretty good book on your hands when you leave it laying around and you spot your husband pick it up a few times to look at it ... and he NEVER picks up a book... EVER.   Well, that was just the case with Football Then to Wow from Sports Illustrated Kids!  Image Credit - Amazon When I saw the title of this book, I figured it would make a welcome addition in our house of football fans!  Let's be honest here... with the boys coming up at Christmas, I knew I was going to need to find a bit of new "reading material" for their bathroom visits... Maybe a bit TMI for you - but just being honest!!!   In Football Then to Wow, we get a great look at history... and I have really enjoyed

With Broxton being in Kindergarten now, we are reading every single night and having to log it into our reading journal.  We work on site words and I am SO EXCITED for the time when he can sit and read a book to me... It will be coming soon, I just know it!   We were sent the World of Reading Level Pre-1 for review and it was a new to me format.  In this set of books, we get 6 books :  Jake Hatches a Plan, X Marks the Croc!, The Case of the Missing Sparkleizer, Caught Blue Handed, Loud Louie and finally, Sophia Makes a Friend. We really enjoyed reading them and I really loved that it had a mix of the different Disney Junior Shows characters! If you are unfamiliar with Pre-1 level books, let me explain.... Pictu
