Baby Showers?

Image
With Valentines Day approaching, for some people, that might mean a baby might be in the future! :) I kid, I kid... No, seriously though... I have several friends that are pregnant, just had a baby or are thinking about having one... A bloggy friend of mine, Laura at New Age Mama recently had a beautiful baby girl, so that made me think of Bea's Gift Baskets ... Actually, I met her through Bea's, so it makes more sense to explain it that way... Anyways, I just wanted to tell you about a few baby gift baskets that Bea's offers. If you are looking for a great Welcome home baby gift, look no further... Also, (sometime down the road) Marc and I are EVENTUALLY going to try for one more, you could keep these in mind for us! :) Okay, on to a few great gift ideas... The Baby of Mine cuddly, plush bear comes in pink for girls and blue for boys. Nearly life-sized and dressed in fleece pj's, this cute little bundle of joy plays lullabies to soothe baby to sleep. It is that time of the week again.. Friday is here! Aloha Friday that is! With that, you know the drill... From Kailani : In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends! My question this week... Who is your email provider? I personally have GMAIL. I was sent an invitation to get a GMAIL account several years back... I made an account and I have LOVED IT ever since... Yes, I still have my original hotmail account, but I rarely check it these days... So, who is yours?

Spinning Forward - Book Review

Image
I just finished a really great book! I wanted to get up and write this post last night, but then... Of course, Broxton woke up.. So, that was put off until today... Then, today has been one thing after another, so I am FINALLY getting it posted now... Debut author, Terri DuLong, really shows what she is made of! I am anxiously awaiting the next book! Spinning Forward takes us to Cedar Key, Florida as Sydney Webster tried to find herself. Living in Boston, Sydney realizes that with the death of her husband, there is so much that she needs to figure out. Luckily, she has a best friend that provides the support needed to try and do so, in Cedar Key. Is moving to Cedar Key the answer? You have to read the book to find out! This book does show the atmosphere of smaller towns. Having gone to a college where everyone knew EVERYTHING about you the moment it happened, I could totally relate to the surprise Sydney had as the townspeople knew things so quickly. (I am sure Boston w

All that snow

Okay, I am in Georgia... I have never seen snow like the North is getting right now. I know it must suck for all of you that are having to deal with it. I am sure the kids like it for a bit, but even so, do you think that they get tired of it? I will tell you one thing... I am LOVING THE PICTURES that the blogs I read are posting right now. As I said, I have never seen such a thing! I am glad that this is something that I am not having to deal with, I mean... In Atlanta, people have all these wrecks when it rains a bit to hard! LoL , one of the guys I used to work with used to say that if someone dropped an ice cube, we would have all these wrecks because people in Atlanta just have a hard time! HA!!! I wonder how Atlanta would react to this? Even when it is a little snow (northerners would probably call this, FROST) everything shuts down! Schools, Churches, even the grocery stores sell out of everything because of the panic that sets in! Just to let you know, if you want to share

When I was 7 months pregnant, I found out it was closing and I
