Now that school is back in, I want to reintroduce another great movie you can watch for family movie night.  The whole thing centers around love for people and interaction, at least that was my take on it...  So perfect for the new school year!     At some point or another, we were introduced to The Little Prince. We fell in love with the movie, I mean...  HELLO it hits you in the feels ...  We ended up watching it over and over and then - late to the party here, we found out it was based on a book!   Yep, we ended up buying the book!  Sadly, we go to read it and then decide we want to watch the movie again, so we have not finished the book yet.  We love the movie so much, the kids wanted Little Prince figures to have in the house, so we bought them.  We had planned to use them for a project, but they just sit on the furniture for the time being. Savannah is only 4, but she is 100% her own little self.  She used to let me put her hair in ponytails and braids, but lately she says "I just need to be me!"  and will only let her hair be straight down.  I admit, I love the ponytails and braids... and as her mom, I could "make" her wear them, but I am also all about her being able to express herself how she wants and if it means her hair being down, why make a big deal out of it?   I have seen the kids with the big "JoJo Bows" I have seen friends posting on social media of taking their daughters to JoJo events... With Savannah being in preschool, she gets to have fun play time each day with her new little friends.  They play with toys and have a  great time and one of the things she likes (again) is Monster Trucks.  They get to take toys for show and tell and she has requested to take hers a few times.  I bet all of the kids there would love to have a day to watch Blaze and The Monster Machines - Ninja Blaze!!!   The best of it all... Nickelodeon has so many good shows that keeps kids attention.  We don't watch as much as we used to, but we tend to have it on in the background all the time.  The noise is just something we are used to now!  A few years ago, Broxton was invited to a party from a girl in his class and it was "Shimmer and Shine" themed.  Here we are, years later and it is still just as popular as it once was!   Are you fans of the show? We have been trying to be better at going to the movies to see all of these wonderful movies that keep being released.  Thing is, it gets rather expensive when you buy the tickets and then what movie watching is complete without drinks and snacks?!?  We had totally planned on going to see Dumbo, but the weekend we got there to get tickets, we realized it had already left the theaters!  I honestly don't know who was more excited to see it... There is a particular quote that has stayed with me lately...  "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.."  Those that know me, know that my kiddos are the most important thing to me.  I really will say that they are my everything and my biggest pride.  We might not do as much as we used to, but one thing for certain is we love, love, LOVE family movie night.  There really is nothing like getting snacks and drinks and then snuggling up to watch a movie with these guys!  I mean, we have plenty of furniture, but they like to sit as close as possible as if we only own 1 chair and that is all we are allowed to sit on! Recently, we were sent a Wonder Park DVD and family survival kit for review.  I know we planned on seeing it at the movies, but lets be real... It gets rather pricey if we want to go and see ALL the movies that are available.  Also, it isn't as "snuggly" in the theater as it is at home, if I am being totally honest!...

Paw Patrol is on a roll!  Paw Patrol Ultimate rescue is one of the latest DVD's that Nickelodeon has released.  I am not sure if I have told you or not, but our cable/internet goes out all of the time.  When the hurricane happened (LAST OCTOBER) we were out for months... I am still in awe as to how popular those Ninja Turtles still are... YEARS LATER! Blaze and the Monster Machines have never really been a favorite for Savannah, but let me tell you this... I know lots of little kids that love it!  We have actually gifted several Blaze DVDs and talk about happy kids!  I think that we might need to watch this one, as it is Robot Riders and Savannah cracks me up about Robots!  Are you guys fans of Blaze and the Monster Machines? Savannah has loved Paw Patrol since the first time she watched it...
