Introducing...

Image
Yesterday I told you the sad news of the summer... and I told you to come back today to hear the happiest news of it all.  If you follow me on Instagram, you already know, but if not... Savannah is here!!! Through out the summer, we had many issues to deal with, but at the same time,  I was enjoying being pregnant.   Marc and I had presumed we were done having children.  We had let "nature take its course" and nothing had happened... I was a bit sad, as I did not realize with Broxton that he was not only the first for everything, he appeared to be the only and last too.  I will admit that I was a bit sad.  I had totally thought that we would have more than one, so to look back and realize that while I was enjoying the firsts of everything going through being pregnant,  I would not get to experience it again.  Then, it all changed.  I was pregnant and would get to experience it all again.  We knew that this time around would be the last,...

Well, what would you call it?

Broxton cracks me up.  He gets pretty literal when he calls things names.  We passed by a Loves gas station and he told me we needed to stop so he could go into "Hearts" to see what all they had for sale.  What are some funny names your kid(s) have called things?

Love This Face

I Love This Face...  Just wanted to make sure you knew! !

Bubble Bath Time

Broxton wanted to take a bubble bath... Also, if you look, you notice he made himself a beard!!! Man, the time flies, but I love the memories we are making!!! Does your family love Bubble Baths as much as we do??? Have a great week!!!!!

Mommy and Me - Birthday Fun

Image
Today I am linking up with Krystyn over at Really, Are You Serious for today's Mommy and Me. Last week was just busy, busy, BUSY!!!! Broxton had a birthday party that was pretty fun for the kids... An indoor play area where the kids could jump and have a blast!  Then, we celebrated his actual BIRTHDAY with him getting to do what he wanted to do... That included firehouse subs... and spending some of his birthday money!!!! We also celebrated at school one day with cupcakes for the class.... Talk about making the most out of turning 4. You know, now that he is 4... He is such a "BIG KID" that he can do everything. Literally, he thinks he can do every.single.thing. It is a good and bad thing... I love that he is growing into such an independent little "man" but at the same time... SLOW IT DOWN A NOTCH!!! Mommy Loves Her BABY Boy!!!! This photo is on his actual birthday... Out front of Firehouse Subs.... Hosted by Krystyn at Really, Are You Se...

W/W - Fun Times

Image
The other day a package arrived for us...  Inside was that crinkled paper that comes in strips that you use for gift wrapping. (As you can see, I have no clue what it is called!) Anyways... Broxton wanted to play with it... So, I let him! He played with it for over and hour before he decided to take a break for a little bit... No worries, he did come and play with it again.. Talk about cheap entertainment!!!! Guess that could be the same as playing with leaves to those that don't live in apartments!!!! Of course, after playing and letting it rain on him, putting it in piles and everything else, we then had to use it as a wig!!!!! Uh Oh! Where did Broxton go?!  With all the hustle with the holidays coming, it is so nice to just sit back and watch..  Letting a kid be that... A Kid!!! Hope you are having a great week!

Shaving Cream Fun - W/W

Image
We have been having shaving cream fun... Meaning that after arts and crafts (and a bit of a mess with the markers!)  we moved on to playing with shaving cream... He loved "drawing" in it and getting messy...  I loved that it "cleaned" the marker mess!!!!  Image Credit: N.Vision Photography Image Credit: N.Vision Photography Image Credit: N.Vision Photography Image Credit: N.Vision Photography Do you ever have "shaving cream fun"? Have a great week!

Season Three Is Almost Here

Image
Oops!  We are totally addicted to Walking Dead... Season Three is starting back in October... That is like a lifetime from now.. We are SO READY!!!! But, the other day, we swung through to see if we could see any filming... and sure enough, they were working on Episode 2 of Season 3. We could not see anything, since it was blocked off... But, we did meet the lady that plays Lori!!! Pretty cool :)

Easter Memories

Image
My parents LOVE to see pictures of Broxton..  And I just have a couple to share with you today... We have been visiting a new church... and we are really loving it so far.   The other day, they had an egg hunt for all the kids in the community... (I heard thousands of eggs were dropped)  and of course, we took Broxton.  It was his first "real" egg hunt, as he normally just hunted them in our yard... and as the only child... It was fun, they had area's sectioned off for each age group: Little Tarp Put down for those that crawl.... Broxton's age group.  They even had the Easter Bunny Show up for pictures!!!! If that wasn't enough excitement... They even had a bounce house... one for bigger kids... and one for Broxton's age: Hope you had a Wonderful Easter.

W/W - Just Like Daddy

Image
Broxton wants to be so much like his daddy that it is not funny. The other day I walked out to this: Daddy and Broxton washing their bikes Have to make sure it is really clean, just like daddy's!  Wipe it really good! Don't forget the back Need to wash it once more Just a little more spray All done! I love my boys!!!!!!!!!! Happy Wednesday!

Our Incredible Night with @WWE. That's What Memories Are Made Of

Image
Not to brag about my hometown or anything, but the last few weeks have brought much excitement to Albany, Georgia!  I was very shocked to see that Smackdown: The Road to Wrestlemania was going to be headed down there.  I just tend to think of the WWE in bigger venues, so I really wanted to go and take Broxton.  Not that the Civic Center down there is teeny, tiny... but that it is small in comparison to Atlanta's Phillips Arena! We luckily had the chance to go and you will never believe who went with Broxton and I... My parents! Yes!  They really wanted to go and see how Broxton would react to seeing all the wrestlers... and I tell you now... Broxton did not disappoint!  He was yelling and screaming and chanting just as loud as every other person in there.  My parents were a bit of amusement all in their own too... Broxton so excited to be at WWE!!!! (Even in his too big for him John Cena shirt!) Why?  Because they know nothing about toda...

W/W Our Road to #smackdown

Image
If you read my previous WWE Smackdown post ... You know that we are really excited that WWE Smackdown is headed to my hometown. Broxton loves it and is always playing with his wrestlers... So much that Santa brought him plenty of WWE toys this year... (He is really wanting the CM Punk and Randy Orton figures, so we need to get them soon.) Christmas Gift From Santa Playing Christmas Morning.... Can you guess where his love of the WWE comes from? This is Broxton at his big brothers house... Playing with all of his wrestlers! Happy Wednesday All!!!   Are any of you in or near South Georgia and planning on going to Smackdown?   This Saturday, the 3rd of March in Albany, Georgia! (We will be there!)

Fully Charged At the Circus #RBBBATL

Image
Last year was Broxton's first time going to the circus and we had a blast.   That being said, I knew that I wanted to take him whenever they returned... Not to mention it seems to be right around his birthday, so that makes it extra special. A friend of mine saw that Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey were headed our way... They called to see if we were planning on going, as they remembered how much we talked about enjoying the show last year.  Of course, we were... So, they got tickets to go the same night. Marc, Broxton and I got there early for the "media behind the scenes" event.   We got to listen to the animal handler talk... Broxton got to pet the horses...   We even got to watch an elephant up close and personal! After the different animals, Broxton had the chance to meet a few of the different clowns.  I know that some kids are scared of clowns, but he was cracking up laughing at them!!!! After that, we headed over ...
