Living in Georgia, we don't really have different seasons.  That is my story and I am sticking to it!!! We have early summer, summer and Football.  Those are our seasons. Anyways, before I get a lecture on the different seasons, I wanted to share with you something fun. To say it was fun would be an understatement. It was so cute to see the kids expressions as they ran through it. (They had the option to run through the color, or to run beside it and not get any on them. You should have seen them as they approached the area!)  Once it was over, I brought water for each of them to drink. It wasn't ...

Summer, perfect time for a picnic. Plus a recipe!

I don't know about you, but for us, summer is for trying to take it easy.  Especially during the hot days!   Lucky for me, Broxton loves when he "gets to decide" that it is picnic day.  Even better?  The fact that he loves to have picnics inside just as much as an outdoor lunch! There is something about throwing down a blanket and eating picnic foods versus sitting at a table and eating a sandwich, at least that is the feeling here!!! We get to make quick and easy meals. Know what that means? More time for playing and making memories!    Recently, we were sent a variety of treats to change up our typical picnic from just chips, fruit and sandwiches.  Read below to see what all we were able to try!   More time with these cuties?  YES!!! I am all for it! Cool down and enjoy the beverages from @CascadeIceWater #recipe

It is officially summer here!  Yep, the temperature keeps rising, the sun is shining.  I have already had my "its summer cold"  I think we are good to go!   When it gets hot, I like to try and keep cool as much as possible. We try to stay hydrated, but this family right here is not the best at drinking, so we try to make sure to have fun treat style drinks as well.  Today on the blog, I am sharing a couple recipes from Cascade Ice to make fun tasting beverages this summer. ( I am sure you can mix it up and a little extra to it to make adult cocktails too, they all sound great!)   FTC Compliant Review Policy:  The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. To me, I was taken back to my trip to California when I saw all the Sea Lions.  Have you ever been and seen them just laying there in the sun?  So neat.  Broxton had to get all up on the glass to be able to see what all was going on.  I love this kids enthusiasm!   These little otters were just the cutest.  It was fun watching them play around with one another.  One kept pushing the other in the water and then would run off.  Just like little kids!   There is something about taking pictures like this.  I could stay here for hours, but Broxton was ready to see what was around the corner....

Are You Active? @ACTIVATEdrinks

If you have visited here before, you know that I am not the best at remembering to take my vitamins.. So, if there is ever any way to help me get what I need IN me... I am all about trying it out... If I forget now... I can surely remember to take it when I drink my water... Because with this... the vitamin is built right in! Enter ACTIVATE . I hate to say it, but I had never heard of it, until it arrived at my door...  It is a bottle of water with Vitamins in the cap! Yes, I know you can buy water that has the vitamins in it, but ACTIVATE did research and learned that over time, the vitamins lost their strength just sitting in water (be it on the shelves in the store or at  your house)  over time, so they found a way to have it together, yet separate until you are ready for it! It really is a great idea and I was rather impressed! They have several different flavors / focus area's...  You just pick the one right for you...  Then, when you...
