I Ain't Squared To Review - Squaredy Cats Review

Have you heard of Squaredy Cats?
LoL, I have never heard of such, until recently...
But they sure are cute!
As soon as I heard "Squaredy Cats"... I had to look.
I was IN LOVE as soon as I saw :
"Not squared to say Pasketty!"
They totally had my attention!
How cute is that? And it brings attention to "National Spaghetti Day!"
Gotta love it!

I spent some time looking on their blog at all the cute little phrases they had...
I love that they are not "squared to say... "
I feel that they help to bring attention to everything, silly and what not...
For adults and kids...
Hey, they even have a blog with a button:
"Not squared to blog it"
How many of us need that?!

I think they really had me with this one:
I wonder why! :)

I love that they post squaredy cat artwork on their blog for pretty much everything...
Makes me smile just to visit them!
Not squared to dream for MLK day...
They had the 12 days of Squaredy Cats for Christmas...
Had all sorts of goblins and what not for Halloween...
They even have Squaredy Cats for the Wizard of Oz!

They sent me one of their cute plush Squaredy Cats for review...
We were able to review "Not squared to sparkle."

It is a cute little blue square... cat!
Did you think it would be anything else?

You can leave the tail up behind it (they have a little loop to hold it up.)
Or you can take the tail out of the loop and let it just lay flat.
Broxton immediately started carrying it around.
I tried to get a picture to show you the size of it...
You know me, I like showing versus trying to figure it out on the measurements!
I have to be difficult!
This is it with Broxton checking it out...
The little tiara is sewn onto the animal, as is the wand...
I love that, it comes with accessories , without the worry of losing pieces!

Please, stay up to date with Squaredy Cats by following them on facebook and twitter.
(They have fun contests on there!!!!)

Also, don't forget to ask your local store(s) WHEN they are going to start carrying these cuties!

Dallas - The Complete Fourteenth Season on DVD - Review

I can remember watching Dallas when I was younger...

My Nana LOVED that show...

I just remember that we would watch it and I thought it would be so neat to live somewhere like SouthFork.

My parents were "glued to the tube" on Fridays...

Talk about date night!

How about I finally got to go and checkout SouthFork Ranch!
Yep!
Many... many ... Many years later..

My sister and I went to take the tour.

(That reminds me... Need to find the pictures!)

We took a tour of the SouthFork Home...

Stood by the fireplace and got our pictures taken...
Looked at their gorgeous table.

Okay, that is for another day...

On to the reason for this trip down memory lane.

Did you know that there were 14 seasons of this hit show?

Yes, and guess what...

As of January 18th, ALL fourteen seasons are now available for you to own on DVD!
I was pretty excited to see the show from long ago...

(I did give my dad season one, I should borrow it and start all the way from the beginning!)

But seriously, Bobby and JR....
I missed them!
Ha!
I LOVE me some Bobby Ewing!
But that is still another story for me to share!

Don't you want to watch and remember the good old days...
Lying, deception, backstabbing...
Deep in the Heart of Texas!!!!
I received a complimentary copy of Dallas the Complete Fourteenth Season for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Aloha Friday # 72

I am linking up with Kailani over at Island Life...

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question to you:

Do you watch any "talk" shows? If so, which ones?

My answer:

I absolutely LOVE to watch Ellen and The Talk. I try to watch them everyday...
Other than that, nothing else really...
But those two, love... The Talk is a new one this year... It seriously makes me feel like I am just hanging out in the living room with them! I still have a hard time picking, but Leah and Sharon are my absolute favorites!!!!

Smart Cookies - Smart Moms - Review

When I was given the chance to review cookies that were healthy...
I was immediately interested.
I wanted to see if we would like them.
We LOVE sweets here!

These smart cookies were made with fruits and vegetables in them.
How would that work?
We received all 4 of their flavors...
I immediately opened the Gimme a Beat box...
Not sure why, maybe because of the pink label...
(Also PINK cookies)
Or, it could have been because they were on top!
Either way, I was hooked...
It was so good!
It tasted just like white chocolate chip cookies!

Of course, we tried all of them...
I think they were really good, no taste of fruits and veggies...
(Good way to sneak in extras if your family isn't all that big of fans...)

If I had to rate them...
Gimme A Beat, Yellow Mellow, Chocoloco and then Nuts-Oat Crazy.
They were all tasty!

Or, as Broxton put it:
"Yum- Yum!

You can click HERE to see where you can buy them near you...
Or, feel free to order from their online store!
As always, please stay up to date by following on facebook and twitter.

Sit back and Relax - Party Lite Aromatherapy is here! - Review

We have been able to review the PartyLite Aromatherapy Line and I have to say...
It is very nice and relaxing.

Have you heard of PartyLite?
They have all kinds of candles, candle holders and everything else to make your home smell warm and inviting!
They also carry Bath and Body Products... and a GOURMET Food Line!
Talk about a way to pamper or be pampered!

The thing with PartyLite is that it is sold exclusively through Independent Consultants.
But do not worry if you do not have or know one!
All you have to do is put in your zip code and they will locate the one in your area!
How easy is that?

Now, on to what we reviewed...
We received the Aroma Therapy Soy Tealight Sampler.
In it was 4 tealight candles of each scent.
The scents included:
Calm, Energize, Meditate and Refresh.
When you open the box, you are immediately swept away with all the different scents mixing together... (They should make a candle for THAT scent! Amazing!)
We tried the Refresh scent first...
I was expecting the scent to be a bit stronger than it was.
The smell was very subtle, like basically just a hint of it.
This would be great for the bedroom or a small room, but I had it trying to smell up the living room.
I figured I wanted to refresh the whole place!
:)
I thought that the tealight holder was really cute...
Not just your basic votive holder, this was a "pebbles tealight holder."

Out of all of them, I had a hard time picking the scent that I liked most...
It was a toss up between Calm : Lavender Rosemary...
Or Energize : Grapefruit Lemon Mint.
Talk about two sides of the spectrum... but oh so good.

So, if you are looking for the perfect gift...
I love you, Happy Birthday, Happy Mothers Day, Happy Anniversary...
Let PartyLite Light the way for you to happiness....
(Remember, they have more than "just" candles!)

Stay up to the minute with PartyLite by following on Facebook and Twitter!

Peter Rabbit Organics - Review

We reviewed Peter Rabbit Organics before...
Their fruit pouches were so great, so when they asked if we wanted to review the fruit and veggie pouch, of course we said yes!
I was a bit nervous, as the mixtures do not really sound that appealing to me, but I wanted to try these to see.
Broxton loves veggies for the most part and if these were good, it would make snacking much easier and healthier.

Once we got them, Broxton immediately inhaled the Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple one.
I have to say, I took it from him for a quick taste... Very good, if I do say so myself!

Then, he tried the Pea, Spinach and Apple.
He loves all three of them separately, but together...
Nope, it was a no go!
I gave it to him several times over two days and he would not eat it.
He would take a bite and then refuse to eat it again...
( I tried it as well, not one we will be buying, I did not like it either and felt kind of bad for trying to get him to eat it for both days! Ha ha!)

The last one saved me and put me back in good mama standings..
It was Carrot, Squash and Apple.
It was very good and both of us liked it.

I really like the convenience of the pouch.
It also has a screw top lid so you can store it to eat later...
With it not needing to be refrigerated or heated, this really is a quick and easy on the go snack.
No need for dishes, utensils.. Nothing but your hands and mouth! :)

If you are wondering just how good they are, go ahead and buy some and try it...
They are good for both adults and children!!!!

Make sure you follow Peter Rabbit Organics on facebook and twitter so that you can partake in any contests they have... as well as stay up to date on all their news!!!!

Eye Buy Direct - Review and Giveaway

I used to wear contacts all the time...
Then, my eyes started to suffer.
Working in a smoky bar did not help, I started wearing my glasses more and more.
Then, it turned into wearing contacts only when going out or if I was going to be in the car for a bit (had to be able to wear sunglasses then!)

I finally got a new pair of glasses before Marc deployed...
Nope, my prescription did not change, I was just so tired of the lenses...
My previous lenses were pretty old!
I should have kept the old ones.
These glasses were super expensive and the least favorite of all the glasses I have ever had.

I said I wanted to go and get a new pair, but as we all know, glasses are not cheap!!!!

That was until I found out about eyebuydirect.
Have you heard of them?
They have tons of different frames!
You can pick based on several different factors.

Start off on choosing: Mens or Womens.
That was easy enough.
Next-
What kind of frame do you want?
Full Rim, Semi-Rim, Rimless?
(Of course, I had to look at several options, so I skipped this one... You don't have to go in order for any of these, it just helps to narrow down the selections!)

The big one for me was material...
They have: Plastic, Metal, Flexlite, Titanium.
I went with plastic.
I learned the hard way that the materials mess up my skin.
Where the glasses touched my face (at my temple) I kept having a green line, I was told that it was a reaction with the material and me... hmmm... Okay, plastic it is then!

Stop- The- Presses!
The most exciting thing for me...
Virtual Eye Try!
You scan a picture of you (without glasses of course!)
Then, you pick the glasses you want to see and they put them on your picture!
You get to try them on from home..
Yeah, you can sit in your p.j.'s and try on the different styles.

When you are ready to order, make sure you have your glasses prescription handy.
You need to know all that stuff, I don't know what it means, but it helps to make your glasses correctly! :)

Then, once your order is placed, you will have your glasses in about 2 weeks!
How awesome is that?
I guess you want to see my glasses...

I like them.
They are comfortable.
They fit, they don't slide off my face!
The only thing?
I have been wearing the thin glasses for so long, it is taking a bit to get used to the frames having the fuller sides! Ha ha!
I am not used to not being able to use more of my peripheral vision!
I think I am pretty used to them now, but the first couple of days?! hello!

Guess what?!
One of my lucky readers is going to win:
$30 gift voucher to purchase a pair for yourself!
(Excludes designer eye-wear and sunglasses)

You can do all 3, if you have all three ways to do so.

I love pictures, now to frame them all... Rusty Roof - Review

Some time ago, a friend and I took the kiddos to an arts and crafts show...
While there, we saw so many neat things, some priced reasonably, others...
Not-so-much.

She fell in LOVE with this HUGE picture frame...
Thank goodness I was able to talk her out of it...
It was like a 16 x 20 for $165.
What?!
Did I read that price right?
$165 for A FRAME?
No thanks...
We left.

She still reminds me that I did not let her get it.
( I think she should be thanking me, but anyways... )

I saw Rusty Roof frames online and I had to go look.
Beautiful!
AFFORDABLE!
Handmade!
Hand-painted!
In the U.S.A.

Now, let me back up..
You can get a cute piece of printed art...
Like the Live, Love, Laugh (love those!)
or the Always Kiss Me Goodnight.
They have a great selection of artwork, different sizes and prints!

But, I wanted to see about the frames...
I had such a hard time picking what to review.
(Side note, I love how the frames are named: Ashley, Chloe, Lauren, Madison, Bella)
Pick your frame...
( I chose Lauren)
Then, choose your color.
They have pink or blue...
Plus, green, brown and several other options!
After that, pick your size!
We received the 8x10.

I was so amazed at the packaging.
They wrap it and secure it so that there is no way it can be damaged!
After the initial packaging, it is then wrapped in this saran wrap type stuff...
(I guess that is to prevent any damage to the wood or paint in the shipment?)
See that little white envelope?
That has the hanger in it, that way you can make it a frame for landscape or portrait!
How awesome is that?
You pick what you want!

I was completely in SHOCK at how thick it is.
This is not just a cheap old frame you would pick up at any store.
This is quality!
I put my finger on the glass to show you how thick the frame is around it...
Look at that!
Wow~

I told Marc that I wanted it to put a picture of Broxton in...
(He does turn 2 next week!)
But, now...
I think I want to put a picture of all the boys in it...
Of course, that means getting another one to put Broxton's picture in.

Oh, and as for my friend...
As soon as the frame came...
I sent her a text and told her that she needed to go to The Rusty Roof site.
Not only would I save her money...
but she could get 3 for just a few dollars more!

Now, that is a great deal!!!!
Key note...
THEY OFFER FREE SHIPPING!!!!!

Roger at The Rusty Roof was amazing to work with!
I am so glad that I was able to review this frame...
And I can not wait to order a few more!!!!
I can tell you this, we will have a wall full of these frames when we get our house!

It is time to get organized! Organizeworld.com Review

If you know me at all...
You know I have good intentions to organize...
but then things never actually GET organized.
Not this time...

I started looking at all the things that Organizeworld has and I am determined, the times... they are a changin!
I figured one of the first things that needed work was our pantry.
Now, our pantry is super small.. but hey, at least we have one now... (We didn't at our old place.)
We used to cram things in, there was no organization...
Things were hard to see...
Stacked on top...

Now, not so much!
If you think about it, there is plenty of wasted space between the door and the cabinets.
Well, not if you have the over the door pantry shelf system!

First, let me tell you...
It came to the house and I told Marc he had a project to do.
He had to put it together for me!
But, then I looked...
This was super easy.
No tools were needed...
Even I could do this!

I opened the box...
Connected my two posts for the side...
then hung it in the pantry...
After that, I spaced them out at the different places that I thought would work best for all of our products.

The only problem?
Our pantry is not a normal sized door.
Nope, (remember, I said it was small) the door is way skinnier than a normal door.
What does that mean?
It means that the pantry shelf organizer doesn't fit perfectly.
( I made it work though!)
It doesn't look pretty, but it works!
Ha ha!
This is NOT ours, this was taken off their site.
Look how nice and neat it all is!!!!
The awesome thing about this?
You can either just hang it over the door...
Which is how we have it now...
OR-
You can mount it on the door!
That is the plan when we move...
I like how we hang it now, then take it down to move...
Mount it then..
No markings left here!

I am enjoying this for all the extra storage space...
Even Broxton likes it... He thinks it is a parking lot for the matchbox cars!!!

Stop on by Organizeworld to see what all you just have to have for your place...
While you are at it, LIKE them on facebook...
Shouldn't you stay up to date on all they have to tell us?!
