Rubbermaid Lunchblox Perfect for Lunch On the Go

Image
Just a little bit longer and Broxton will be in preschool. I have been highlighting back to school items while I prepare for this "milestone" for us..  Not to long ago, I was on the rubbermaid site and I came across the Rubbermaid Lunchblox . I was curious as to if this would be a great product for him to take him lunch in, so I am glad when the chance arose for me to review them on here for us all to learn more! I thought that they looked like a great way to take a lunch, be it a toddler or an adult...  I was curious as to if they were glass or plastic and have since learned that they are indeed plastic.. BPA free to be exact! You know how your eyes are always bigger than your stomach?  (At least for my family that is sometimes true.. ) Well, when the lunchblox arrived, I was a bit concerned that it would not hold a sandwich without having to squeeze the bread in there... Yeah, I was a fool on that one... I do not know if I have always just pictured bread...

Recycle in Style - Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler #Giveaway

Image
If you did not know it, let me just tell you now..  Marc and I should have stock in Coca Cola with the amount that he drinks.   I think at times he thinks that they are going to stop making it, so he has to try and drink all he can before then! Okay, he is doing much better now that he is drinking flavored waters, but still... We do keep Coke on hand! That being said, I was so glad to have the chance to review the new Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler!   You see, we tried saving to recycle before, but there just wasn't anywhere to do it. Our county doesn't recycle and we didn't want bags or boxes just sitting around to collect the items in.   Our pantry isn't big enough to hold 2 trash cans, so we just did not do anything to help, just added more trash to the landfills!  The times, they are a changing!   We were sent the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler and it was so easy to assemble that I did it in about 3 minutes... (That included taking it ou...

Rubbermaid Helps Me Organize - Review

Image
I was lucky enough to be sent a Rubbermaid Slide Out 2 Tier Can Rack . I have both my likes and dislikes, so I am still unsure if I would purchase more... (At this time, once we have a house... YES!) I love the fact that it is nice and sturdy, but at the same time, it is a bit bulky. Now, remember... I have like a half pantry type thing going on, so it doesn't work as well as it should. What do I mean? My pantry isn't as deep as most are... Which in turn means that the rack doesn't fit on the shelf. I make it work, but it doesn't really! Also, the rack is a bit big, so... If you are organizing small cans of Campbell's Soup, it is a bit to big for the cans... BUT - If you are organizing those big cans of Progresso or Campbell's Chunky, then it works great! What I ended up doing was staggering/doubling up the smaller Campbell's and putting them on the top, leaving the bottom for the bigger cans. I will be glad when we have a normal pantry, as I know this would...

Rubbermaid Reveal Mop - Review and Giveaway

Image
How do you mop? There have been so many ways to mop your floor... My Nana had the sponge with the squeeze thing, you know, mop, squeeze the sponge, do it again... My moms house is the mop that is the braided rope and then you pull the thing up to squeeze the water out... Where I used to work, it was the INDUSTRIAL mop and then the mop bucket had the squeeze. I had the kind that was the wet pad. Times, yes, they are a changing!!!! I was fortunate to review the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop . First of all, it was released in May... Where was this before then? It comes very easy to put together... Just snap the pieces together and you are on your way! They even include an extra cleaning pad! This cleaning pad is no joke either!!! It is very thick and durable! One of the MAIN reasons I like this versus other mops... You can choose what cleaner you want to use! Not the kind that they want you to use... I really liked the ease of using this mop! It was easy to get mopping and the result was a...

Rubbermaid Drawer Organizer - Giveaway

Image
I was recently sent the Rubbermaid Drawer Organizer for review. (They are also letting one of you lucky readers win your own as well!) I have to say, I was a bit shocked as to how wide it was. I like how it comes in parts that interlock the way you want it. I thought the way it was packaged together would be great for our drawer, but I was skeptical that it would fit. It seemed a bit too wide. BEFORE: But, it wasn't! It fit perfect! It comes in several different sized compartments and they interlock each other to fit accordingly. I was able to make a compartment for each of the "necessities" of our junk drawer! For some reason, we have about 8 million boxes of matches... Not sure why, but now, they are nice and organized! (Yes, I know I should have gotten rid of them, but as soon as I did, we would have needed them!) We now have our pens and pencils nice and stored! Then, the "junk!" AFTER: I highly recommend the junk drawer organizer! I think I am going to ge...

Rubbermaid Lock its - Review UPDATED....

Image
I do not know about you all, but I have a huge mess when it comes to the kitchen... You know pots and pans, open the cabinet and out everything falls! Or, go to find a storage container, only to find you have the container but no lid, or a lid but not the right size container... Enter, RUBBERMAID LOCK ITS! I received a canister set for review and my mom has fallen in love! :) They come in several different sizes and the lids fit more than one container. They are safe in the dishwasher, microwave and freezer! I was very relived when I took it out of the dishwasher to see it was as good as when I first got it! You know, how sometimes when they come out a little warped and not exactly the same shape as when you put it in? :) I will say, I put it on the top shelf, just to be safe. I used one for vegetable beef soup and I have to say, there are no stains on it. ***** Although this is not a "stain - proof" line (as I earlier stated, sorry about that, I looked...
