Not many people know this, but once I moved to Atlanta, I started keeping small notebooks in my purse for times I wanted to "journal."  I really enjoyed it and I am honestly not really sure why I stopped doing it.. But - While I was checking out Americas Mart, I noticed this awesome display of journals... Of course that drew me in like a magnet and I was in shock at all of the themes of the different journals!   I was sent a Journal for review from Journals Unlimited ... As I said, they have several themes .... It was so hard to decide which one that I wanted the most... They have themes for everything... Film lovers?  (Would make a great graduation gift to someone heading off to film school.) They

I was lucky to have a couple different baby showers when I was pregnant with Broxton.   One of my best friends threw one for my coworkers to come to and you know what was neat?  She asked for them to give a book instead of a card to start a library for Broxton... I thought that was so neat... Then, another person gave us a gift that was "wrapped" in a baby themed "photo box."  I thought that was sooooo very cool... Instead of wrapping and throwing away the wrapping paper, or buying a gift bag, the wrapping could also be included as part of the gift!!! That got me to thinking...  I was recently sent a Built Baby Buddy Essentials Caddy .   At first, I thought it was sort of small, but then

I saw them at Americas Mart and I thought they looked pretty simple!!! The Scramble Squares puzzle is a basic 9 square puzzle...  Or so you think... Then, you try and complete the puzzle and you realize that it is so much more than just a "basic 9 square puzzle."    I have tried a  few different times to put it together, but have yet to have any luck in completion of it...   It looks like it is so easy to do, but they really aren't... The great thing is that not only am I having fun... Broxton is too!! If you and your family enjoy puzzles, check out S

I guess the holidays make me a bit more nostalgic than throughout the year...  I remember growing up with my Nana watching all sorts of  television and one that cracks me up still to this day is Mama's Family!!   Imagine my surprise and delight when I was sent seasons 1 and 2 for review!   It was like I was back at her house laughing at how funny the show is, even today! MAMA'S   FAMILY : THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON  (1983) - When Vinton Harper (Ken Berry,  F-Troop ),  Mama's  only son, drops by to announce that he and his children have been evicted from their home, it sets into motion  family  dysfunction of the highest order.  Against the wishes of  Mama's  roommate - her sister, Fran (Rue

A few years ago, I was able to host a review of cards from Shutterfly and I finally decided to go with the Top 10 Moments card for that year... and I fell in love as soon as they arrived! (To be totally honest, I still have ours from that year hanging on our fridge!)  No lie, we had SEVERAL people comment on the fact that they loved the cards and that the Top 10 was the cutest way they had seen cards made that year...   The top 10 was such a fun one that year, because we had just welcomed daddy home from his deployment ...  Each year our cards are special to me and I love sending them, but with us buyi

I will totally admit that I used to love Mark Wahlberg... back in his Marky Mark days..  So, with that being said, I have really enjoyed watching him evolve from the music guy to the actor... and I was excited to see 2 Guns..    Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington in the same movie?  (Oh, I might have forgotten to mention that I think Denzel is an awesome actor!!!) Anyways, the other day I did something I never do...   Really...  I dropped Broxton off at school and came home and watched a movie. Shhhhhhhhh... I really did ... and after watching it, I am glad I watched then, as the language was a bit rough!!!  When it first started, I noticed Denzel said something (instead of profanity) but then a few minutes la

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. If you follow me on Instagram , you saw me post a couple pictures of  Broxton and his new friend, Frosty...   Well, today I get to tell you about Frosty and what all is going on at Build-A-Bear.   For the longest time, I thought that Build a Bear was just the workshop... You know, you go in and you build your own bear...  now I know, that is not all true!   You can actually buy already stuffed animals!!!!   Broxton saw the Build A Bear commercial and immediately thought that we needed Rudolph and Frosty for our house.  (We are still in the process of decorating, we have minimal things and one would be a great addition to our Christmas decor.)  We were lucky enough to open the door and find that Frosty h
