Masami Hair - Look and Feel Beautiful!

Image
One thing I have always been complimented on is - my hair color of course!  I have actually tried the whole highlight / low light thing... but just plain ol' keeping it the way it is has always worked best for me.  I am not one to primp and do all of that, so just some good shampoo and conditioner has always done the trick.  True story - in high school one of my teachers came in with a purplish - red toned hair color one day.  She approached me to tell me that she had tried (and obviously failed - her words, not mine ) to get my hair color since she loved it so much!  That always puts a smile on my face because while I have fair skin and freckles thanks to this red hair, I really do love my hair.  It makes me - ME!!!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. Kid not a fan of plain water? They should try @AquaBallDrink !

Living in Georgia, we don't really have different seasons.  That is my story and I am sticking to it!!! We have early summer, summer and Football.  Those are our seasons. Anyways, before I get a lecture on the different seasons, I wanted to share with you something fun. To say it was fun would be an understatement. It was so cute to see the kids expressions as they ran through it. (They had the option to run through the color, or to run beside it and not get any on them. You should have seen them as they approached the area!)  Once it was over, I brought water for each of them to drink. It wasn't ...

Fruit Shoots are perfect to throw in the lunch box!

Image
What do your children drink each day? I wish I could say that mine drink water non stop, but that just is not the case.  Neither of them are huge fans, but we do attempt to drink it as much as possible! Broxton is normally only allowed to take a juice to school for lunch and that is his juice limit for the day.  We were recently sent a selection of Fruit Shoots to give a try and that is just what we did!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing. It is getting closer to time for our baby to arrive, so that means I am at least thinking about packing a bag to take to the hospital.  I know I need to get my things in order, but I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to packing.  (I think I get it from my mom, she packs morning of the trip... I am not that bad, yet!) Anyways, I asked a few friends what they thought were must have items and I got ideas like suckers, lip balm and more... One thing I didn't think of, because we have it in almost every room?  Lotion!   Yes!!!!   Being that I have worked with Vaseline for what feels like a million years now, I knew that would be the lotion of choice!   Lucky for me, they have a new (to me...

Have I got a product to tell you about...  If you know us, or have been around Jumpin Beans, You will know that Marc is pretty much against water...   I don't know why, but he just does not like it...  Well, Broxton is like most kids... and he follows our lead... So, he isn't one to ask for it..  but he will drink it if that is the only option.   I was recently given the chance to review the Citrus Zinger from Zing Anything... and I will say it LOUD.... IT IS A LIFE SAVER!!!   Water is an enjoyed beverage here now!!!! Have you heard of Zing Anything?   It is a company that lets your creative juices flow... literally!!! With the Citrus Zinger, it is divided into a couple...

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. As you know...  Water is not a favorite around here...  Marc seems to think it is like poison... so of course, Broxton does not request it...  We do have it though...  Bottles, pitchers... you name it.. The great thing with Broxton's teachers last year was that she said it was okay to send in water for the kids to drink throughout the day...  His water bottle came home pretty full on some of the days, so I wanted to try and find another way to keep him hydrated..  Then, it hit me...  Broxton likes Hint water..  So why not send that in?   It is more than just "water" so that Broxton will drink it...  It is water that tastes good... and would be gr...

Beat the Winter Dryness @carmex #giveaway

I don't know if I have shared with you the fact that my mom has the driest hands in the world... I do not know why they are so dry, but it is horrible. Sorry mom, I know you know its true.... but I just had to share it with everyone. I have always said that I do not want to have super dry hands like her... So, I try my best to keep them moisturized.  I just wish I would make a routine and stick with it... But, It never works that way.  I try and use lotions as much as possible, but I also wash my hands a million times and I do not always think of grabbing lotion right afterwards... I have mentioned before about Marc having super dry hands and I think he is the only guy I know that will ask for lotion.  (He also carries it in his bag when he travels.)  We both enjoy using the Carmex lotion.  I was surprised as to how great it worked.  We have been fans of the Carmex lip treatment for quite a while (before I even knew Marc, I used Carmex.) With the...

Stay Well. Stay Hydrated. For You. For Life... @Drinkneuro

I admit that I read what the celebrities are up to... Yes, some would call me a junkie.  No, I don't stalk and no, I do not fall into all the crazes that they promote... BUT, I do get curious.   A while back, I saw all the buzz with celebrities was about this new drink, Neuro. I will tell you, I started looking for it...  I wanted to know what the big deal was. I never found it and I did not have the opportunity to review it... Until Now. I was recently sent several of the Neuro drinks  to try . First of all, the person in charge of their packaging is to be recommended. I notice the packaging of all things and it is very eye catching. The only bad thing about the bottles?  As soon as my toddler saw them, he immediately wanted me to drink "all of them now" so that he could use them for bowling!    Hey, at least we can recycle them into a fun game once we enjoy them. Now let me tell you this...  I was eager to try them all, but ...

CamelBak - BPA Free Water Bottle - Review

Image
With Marc being in the military, we are very familiar with the Camelbak brand... He has the Camelbak pack, the book bag... and now, I have the Camelbak BPA Free Water Bottle ! I was really excited to try it out, as we have been very impressed with the brand so far... I wanted to see if the water bottle would hold up to the test. Luckily for me, Heart Rate Monitors USA sent me one for review! It says it is spill proof, so you know we had to find out... So far - so good! I love this bottle, as you bite down to get the water. That helps to make it spill proof!!! The thing I don't like about it... The fact that I put too much ice in it and then have a hard time getting the lid on (since it has a straw) Is that their fault? Nope, it is mine... and yes, I have learned now! We have it to drink water throughout the day... We take it when we go on the porch. We most certainly take it when we go to the park! The thing that I absolutely LOVE about it? The spout that you drink out of, fol...
