He kept asking about the release date and when it finally arrived in the theaters, we were out of town.  Lucky for all of us,. we were visiting my parents and Broxton was able to talk them into going to see it with him.  The four of us went to see it and left laughing and talking about what a good movie it was.  The thing is, he wanted to go see it again and again... with movie tickets being around $10 each here, we can't afford to go to the movies repeatedly, so we were excited when it was about to be released on Blu-Ray / DVD. As soon as it arrived, we had a movie night and enjoyed it, all over again!...

I love watching movies... I wish I had a movie rental place that was easier for me to get to. I was lucky enough to have the chance to review the latest movie, The Big Year. Have you heard of it?  It had Jack Black, Steve Martin and Owen Wilson in it... To be honest, I really had no idea what it was about... BUT, I did know that with those three names, it was going to be good. I will say, it was not a comedy like I was expecting with those three... but, it was a movie that I really enjoyed. The Big Year is about a three guys from three totally different backgrounds...  All on the same mission:  Birding the Big Year...  Meaning, who ever has the "Big Year" is the one that sees the largest number of birds!!! Now, don't get me wrong, I do not hate birds... but I am not familiar with them either... I did enjoy watching the movie and learning the different types that are out there.. I enjoyed it, but I tell you ... Bird Lovers/Watchers.... Watch...
