Beecology - Review

Image
You know that I love all types of lotions, shampoos, lip balms, body wash... I enjoy seeing how they work with my skin or my hair... How they smell... I just love it because it is like I slip away to somewhere else for a while... I have been using a new shampoo and conditioner lately, from Beecology and I am really enjoying it! I have tried the lotions and lip balms before, but I was really excited to try the shampoo and conditioner! What would it smell like? How would it make my hair feel? Well, as soon as I got it, I had to try it out! The shampoo is ALL NATURAL, SULFATE FREE . It lathers nice and I feel as though it cleans my hair, without stripping it! The conditioner is also ALL NATURAL . I have to admit, I was not so sure about the conditioner in the beginning. When I squeezed it out of the bottle, I felt as though I was just getting ready to put lotion on my hair. It was not thick and creamy like most conditioners are... but, I figured "what they hey, lets give it a try

It's Friday... Time to relax... and enjoy the weekend!!!! From An Island Life , home of Aloha Friday : Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends! My question this week: Do you consider yourself to be a sentimental person? Do you love sentimental items? My answer: I think that I am very much a sentimental person. The reason this question comes up now is that my grandmother is moving... She is moving out of her house and into one of those assisted living apartments... While she is packing everything up to either move, store or sell.. I reall

Kidorable - Review & Giveaway

Image
I have seen Kidorable all over the blogs and I think that they have THE CUTEST items!!!! I mean, with a name like "Kidorable" how can your kid not be adorable in their products?! I was so excited when I was allowed to review them!!!!! I had such a hard time picking out what style of adorable rain-wear we wanted to go with! I thought for sure that Marc would want him to get the Pirate outfit... but I wanted all of the boy ones! We had Broxton come over and look with us and then Marc decided that Broxton should have the FROG one.... Precious!!! ( I love frogs too, not real ones... but I do think they are cute!) Now, with Kidorable you can shop a few different ways. You can go to the Kidorable site and order based upon the style you want.... Or you can look based upon the product . Broxton has fat feet :) and he wears a size 6 shoe... We ended up ordering the size 7 and they fit him perfect... I think the size 6 might have been a bit snug on his legs. The jacket we ordered

Temple Touch Premium Thermometer - Review

Image
Broxton was not feeling well last week and felt like he was running a fever. Luckily for us, we were recently sent a Temple Touch Premium Thermometer for review! I grabbed it to see if he was warm or if he really had a fever. (He did, 101.2) Let me just tell you about this thermometer. It is SUPER easy to use! You just press the power button... and about half a second later, it is ready to go. Seriously, you turn it on, it beeps so you know it is ready... you press it to their skin... wait for the beeps (about 6 seconds) and it tells you their temperature. The thermometer even keeps track of what the last temperature taken was.... Did I mention that you pick to either take the temperature under their arm or on the temple . It even has a little icon to tell you if it is set for their underarm or temple. I tried to put it on Broxton's temple, but he had been laying on me pretty much the whole time, so I knew my body heat would be picked up.. I decided to go with the underarm. Th

Fruit2O - Review and Giveaway

Image
I do not know about you, but I am always having to try and MAKE the boys drink water... Soda and Sugary Drinks are not a problem for them, but when it comes to water, you would think that I was trying to make them solve all the problems of the world... ( I think they get that from their dad, because he HATES water!) Well, the boys were here this weekend... and we had a great item here for review! I was sent several different flavors of the Fruit2O product line! Now, I like water and I can drink it flavored or plain, so I was curious as to how it would taste... But, most of all, I wanted to see how the boys would like it... So- we tried, we talked and we liked!!!! I did NOT care for the lemon, but one of the boys gulped it down and said it was great, tasted just like a soda and he enjoyed it... Ready for more... I am not really a cherry fan, so R inhaled it as well.. His comment? I really like this, but if you are not a fan of cherry, you need to pass drinking it... there is a strong

Disney Road Rally DVD - Review

Image
I have always loved Mickey Mouse... That was yet another reason that I wanted Broxton to get to go to Disney when Marc got home. We watch the Disney Channel from time to time and I really like when Broxton gets to watch Clubhouse Mickey. Miska , Mooska , MICKEY MOUSE!!!! Luckily for us, we were able to review the newest DVD to come out! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally. Now, I am not one to sit Broxton in front of a TV for hours at a time, but with this movie... He gets to see Mickey and the gang... They even have songs and stuff like that, so of course Broxton LOVES it.. As soon as music comes on, he IMMEDIATELY has to dance! (Not to mention the song is cute... M-I-C-K-E-Y... Mouse... Broxton loves dancing to it! We have watched the movie a couple times at home, but right now... We have my dads car, (with a DVD player in it) So, Mickey and the crew come along to make the trips a bit more enjoyable! This movie is super cute (it even has Chip and Dale in it!) Mickey and friends d

Blogger Challenge Day 26

Day 26 — A childhood memory I have 2, both super short... One : I was at my Nana's house... We went out for a walk and I found a birds egg on the ground... I put it in my pocket, to keep it warm and safe.. I wanted to try and get it to hatch. Well, we got back to my Nana's and I sat on it... I was sad... But, I learned not to go putting eggs in my pocket! Two- Also at Nana's. We were there... Me, Estee and Ed Ross... The ice cream truck came. We ran out for ice cream. Forgot there were "stickers" in the grass. (We were barefoot) We started screaming for Nana to bring out our shoes. Nana came out... (Ice cream man is waiting on us.) Estee JUMPED on her... Nana fell down. Ice cream man freaked out... We all laughed... Got our ice cream and went to the porch!!!! Oh, how I miss my Nana.
